Ok perfect. I managed to beat both games on hard but this would require much time.
If I play them on easy I just have to win the first 8-9 races and I can retire in the last 6-7 races and on easy I wouldn't have to make the qualifying, no need to start in pole position for win in that case.
I think that the Normal mode would be the best idea. This way you are going to be more sure you've done every race (except if they are some unlockables on Hard ?).
I am gonna attempt to beat batman beyond, it will be a painful and arduous journey filled with glitches and awful controls but hopefully within a couple days you can mark it off the list.

That game sucks in every possible way. Bad graphics, bad sounds, repetitive and uninspired musics, bad controls, repetitive gameplay, etc. The game is incredibly short and easy too: 5 levels only and nothing is really challenging. I beaten it on normal and hard in a couple of hours.
The game is very short and easy, only 5 very short levels (the level 4 requires 2-3 minutes to be completed, the others 5-10 minutes)
I beaten the game in normal mode and in hard mode.
The last level initially was incredibly hard compared to the others, but when I start to fight the enemies with C-left button was a piece of cake, even the last boss, the Joker.
I'm watching YouTube walkthroughs now and they made more efforts than me, some sections are easier than YouTube walkthrough videos shows, the Joker is easy if you fight it with C-left, on YouTube he seems hard.
Even in the level four, I found a place where the laser can't reach you and you can finish the level in 3 minutes. On YouTube I seen different strategies."

I could barley get through the first level it was so bad, thank god you did it. I can still take care of the duke nukem games, both aged for shit but still pretty fun.
I love these threads and wish I had more time (and games) to knock some off the list. Just curious, what is it about sports games (such as Madden) that makes them such a pain to beat?
Star Wars Episode 1: Battle for Naboo no gold or platinum medals
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer 100% first place in all 24 races
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron no gold medals
StarCraft 64 100% but not Brood War Expansion
Taz Express
Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry on easy
Tonic Trouble 99%
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil 100% on normal mode
Twisted Edge Snowboarding on expert
Wipeout 64 challenge and time trial beaten
Games the I beaten in 2015 but I have not evidences:
F-1 Racing Championship: as I'm good in this game I used it this year for upload a YouTube video. After that I won one season in two days (search on YouTube "Italia64 N64" to find the video)
FIFA 99: won the Champion's League with a friend of mine in one night
International Superstar Soccer 2000: beaten the World Cup with a friend of mine in one night
World Driver Championship: I don't think this counts, in fact I found some saved files (I beaten the game in 2013) and I beaten the last race only in 2015. So I beat the game but the just the last race. I think that this count as "game started before 2015".
Welcome ! It's awesome to see all these games you've done so far. I will take my time to update the list, as I want no errors in it.
Hey man.
I looked the 2012/13/14 contests and the PAL Exclusives there wasn't (aside some exceptions), I tell you this because you won't find the when you will search in the unbeaten games lists.

There doesn't seem to be a good consensus on what qualifies beating the game, and what measures can be taken to help yourself out.
ie I did an entire season of Tecmo Super Bowl (on SNES), but lost in the playoffs. Did I need to win the Super Bowl to "finish" the game? Do I only have one shot at it, and if I lose a playoff game I'm SOL? If so that's a pretty bitter pill to take. As someone else put it, that's like dying to one of the last bosses of an RPG, and having to start over every time you want to try again.
Also, a lot of the games are very similar to one another, so it would get super repetitive. I also personally do not think that the game of football translates well into video game form, and that every basketball game older than Live 95 is garbage.

Unless the game autosaves or something, I can't imagine why we'd ever need to restart like that -- if the game doesn't force you to start from scratch, then neither should we. The RPG analogy is apt -- anything that's fair game in a RPG is fair game in a sports game.
Some baseball games even let you save in the middle of a game, which means it's totally legit to eke out one inning at a time. It may feel cheesy, but they clearly intended to permit it.
Agreed 100% that the lack of consensus on what constitutes beating a game is a big obstacle. That's largely a product of the fact that sports games are so badly documented, and we often don't even know whether they have a proper ending or not, or what it takes to get there.
Some games give you the exact same ending whether you jump straight to the Super Bowl/World Series/etc. or you play a full season. Others expect you to play the longest season on the hardest difficulty and then face a hidden, super-tough team or opponent, and only then do you get a legit ending. A few even expect you to play multiple seasons, like ATP Tour Championship Tennis on the Genesis or Top Players' Tennis on the NES. And sometimes (often?) the ending is so lame that it's hard to feel sure whether you've really beaten the game!
Here's what I found, so you can compare your results with mine.

2 - Games like HSV Adventure Racing! and Michael Owen's WLS 2000 will count for only 2 points, as they are not on the list, because they are variations of the NTSC games (in this case Beetle Adventure Racing! and Mia Hamm Soccer 64).

Ok, for HSV I can understand because the game is the same and only the cars change. But Micheal Owen's World League Soccer 2000 is different than Mia Hamm, both games have the same graphic engine and same stadiums, but they have different controls, different difficult (for example Mia Hamm has selectable difficulty, I MOWLS2000 the game adapts the difficulty to the players skills), different options, etc. But if you want consider them the same game...well you're the boss :-P

Well, anyway, if it was on the list, it couldn't be more than 2 points, since PAL games appeared last year.
I will try to beat other games to be safe...I have all the PAL games but unfortunately few North American exclusives. I have about 9-10 possible choices to play for the contest.
Wetrix is beaten! I managed to beat the game highest score, not very hard once you understand the game's dynamics (and I played this game yet time ago). Still today a very good, original and addictive puzzle game ;-)
Now I'm playing Top Gear Rally 2, F1 WGP and All Star Tennis 99 (unfortunately it's beaten yet).
-Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2 (in Italy, France, Spain and Netherlands)
-Racing Simulation Monaco Grand Prix (in UK)
-Racing Simulation 2 (in Germany)
I don't know why all these different names.
This may is hard to believe in North America but this game is fantastic.
Ok, graphics, sounds and musics are unimpressive but the gameplay is perfect if you like F-1. You have always to pay attention to oversteering and understarring, find the right point where brake is fundamental, you have to open gas not too early, not too late. Once you become good is quite addictive.
Back in days I used to play hundreds of hours to this game, I beaten all the records, the career, the Pro mode on Arcade and Simulation mode, I won a championship making Hat Trick in all 16 races, etc. I also won a championship making full lap races (every race it's about 1h30m with full lap!). I feel like I'm the person in the world who played more to this game haha. Even playing it two hours today was still enjoying. Its successor, F-1 Racing Simulation it's very similar but it has the FIA license.
Unfortunately I didn't win the championship on F-1 WGP pro mode. But now stop with F-1 games haha.
Maybe I will retry on Rookie in future if I need points.
I restart World Driver Championship, ok it's a very long game but a Finnish friend of mine is playing it a lot a made me want to play it again.
I will take pics of the different files when I will be about 80% of the game, so you know that this is not the old finished file that I told the other day.
I played about 6 hours to WDC and when I changed the Controller Pak I lost all my datas! Controller Pak corrupted (not the one with WDC, the one with TGR2)
It contained some games files, the most important:
-Shadow Man file with 120 Dark Souls and 451 Cadeaux. So if one day I want to find the last cadeaux I have to restart the game from the beginning
-Top Gear Rally 2: I lost about 8 hours of gameplay. I just finished to re-made all the progressed that I had in the file. Fortunately it required "only" 3 hours, as I am "trained" now.
I don't know if TGR2 can be considered beaten.
In fact the game doesn't have an end I think. You can see the credits by the option menu.
I beaten the first three cups, every cup got 3/4 races and every race is composed by other 3/4 point-to-point races. The car who obtain the lowest times sum win the race. You can figure how long is this game.
Beaten or not I will try the 100% ;-)
Get the gold is not mandatory, neither partecipate to all the races. You just have to earn money (for upgrades) and points enough to join better teams and unlock other cups (this is why I don't know what's the game end).
I also completed the first two groups of licenses, an optional task similar to the GT Licenses, all gold so far.
If you're a masochist try to get all the gold licenses, it's an incredible hard task.
I spent two hours yesterday for the first test of National Licence, fortunately today I remade it in few tries.
I paste here some pros/cons that I wrote about this game:
+ Tons of rally simulation features added:
very good and elaborated damage/upgrade parts system
point-to-point races give a strategic aspects to the game
realistic grip, it's always different depending on terrain and weather conditions
+ Two player cooperation championship
+ Four players mode
+ Rally driving school is a nice and useful add
+ Very good sound effects
+ Random track generation
- A game like this would be a masterpiece with a top graphic and top soundtrack: both really unimpressive.
This game is completely different from its predecessor and from any racing game I ever played. It's a "survival racer" haha...if you play it, you understand.
II played World Driver Championship for a little while. It seems to beat it, you'd need to win all the cups in GT1 and GT2. Whether there's any kind of ending after that is anyone's guess.

I beaten WDC right now after another very long session. When you beat the game there is a ending scene with your car (the car you used for the final race) over a skyscraper. Yes to beat it you have to get 1st in overall ranking and win the GT1 Invitational race (20 laps on Kyoto!). Modestly I'm a master in this game :-P haha As you can see I didn't use my finished file.
Later I'm going to remove the memory pak for attempting TGR2 100%. Wish me good luck, I hope this time everything goes well with the saved files haha. I really need to buy a DexDrive. Now it's better I sleep a bit, my eyes are very tired. I'll dream N64 racing games for sure haha.

Ah... Really sorry to learn about your save files being corrupted.
For TGR2, I guess finishing all the cups would be considered as "beating the game". Never played the game, but now I want to !

Are 16 races, every victory are 10 points, usually if you get 70-80 points you win as the opponents rarely earn more points during a season.
The only thing that is different is the difficulty.

Two things I have to say, though:
1 - PAL games like Taz Express were only included in the 2014's thread, so the maximum you will have for these is 2 points.

Now I'm playing Top Gear Rally 2, tomorrow I will finish F1 WGP (I hope).
Thanks for the chart update man ;-)

Every game you've done is on the list now.
Also, you're in first place ! Congrats !
I will try to beat other games to be safe...I have all the PAL games but unfortunately few North American exclusives. I have about 9-10 possible choices to play for the contest.
Now I'm playing Top Gear Rally 2, F1 WGP and All Star Tennis 99 (unfortunately it's beaten yet).
In Europe this game is known as:
Amateur Cup (1st in all races)
Sprint Cup (1st in all races)
National Cup (1st in all races)
Amateur License (all gold)
Sprint License (all gold)
