--SOLVED-- Problem with buttons configuration in Super Mario All Stars (SNES)
Hi! I have a problem with my Super Mario All-Stars copy for the SNES. Whenever I select Type A (to jump with
the game always changes it to Type B, so the jumps are only performed with A. I'd like to know if anyone of you has had the same problem, can it be solved by replacing the battery? (Although the games can be saved without any problems). How do I make the change permanent? Thank you!
UPDATE: Today I bought a new battery (CR2032) as ol2 suggested, replaced the old one and the problem was solved! Now the game saves the type selected again. It's weird that a very old battery can cause these issues. I found on the internet that several people have had the same error so I hope my case will help anyone with this problem. Thank you all!

I believe Type A is the original setting for new copies, and the option last used is saved.
