Need some help in the value of this gameboy, I know they're worth $250 ish loose but never seen one in box. Its the ocean blue gameboy pocket strictly released to Australia.
I appreciate your reply but you're incorrect about that, I've seen a couple auctioned off above $200 loose and these are super rare. In the box never seen a single one.
Looks like it came inside of another bundle box, so technically yours isn't complete. That guy paid $100 two years ago for the full bundle. I would say that it may be worth $100-$150 but I'm not really an expert on the Gameboy market.

Oh I am sorry about that.
How many olf these have you sold?
Think very carefully about your answer. Becasuse if it's less then 4, all of which going for the price I have already provided for you, you may turn out to be incorrect about this.
I haven't sold any nor do I ever plan to, this particular gameboy is very rare, even rarer than the boxed extreme green which sells for $400 plus. I've done a lot of research so anything you tell me saying its worth less than an extreme green is just false. Ive had an offer of $400 but just wanted an actual value. never seen one in a box sell. On an unrelated note I'm looking to buy any loose limited edition gameboy light.
Hey guys, be nice. Sometimes when you can't find a price point after doing the research, it is best to ask.
I get wanting to know, and I am not trying to sound mean or anything... but he already seems to have an idea of what it is worth and is defensive about it... so, why ask then?

Hah ya he is coming off as a bit... Rude and closed minded, carry on.
If you're not interested in selling then value probably shouldn't matter anyway, you know that it's rare and that should be enough. If you are looking to sell then I suggest you take that $400 offer and run.
coming off rude wasn't my intention. its just frustrating when people provide misinformation. basically what rdols said, stuck at a point where theres no more info to find.
No, you've been given hard facts that disagree with your deluded price and are now dismissing them as simply untrue. If all you want is for people to tell you that you are right, you should probably just ask for that in the first place.

Unfortunately you are coming off as you are the only one with the correct information and do not want to hear otherwise... if you do not like what you hear, stick to your numbers. You do not wish to sell and the opinions that are given, you disagree with. So what is the point here? If you do not want to hear opinions, then do not ask for them?
What on earth has compelled you to believe that one of these is worth such an inane amount?
I have given you the amount that i have ACTUALLY SOLD these for, how you can think that it's somehow not accurate is beyond me.
EDIT; If you are going only off of the one on eBay that dosent even have the correct battery cover that is listed at $200. You need to realise that is has been up for a few months at that price now and no one in their right mind would pay then, hence why it's not sold.
Without even looking and i already know which on that is. You should state that its actually missing the batter cover and effects the value very much. Its also not in amazing condition and he has it up for $200 loose, of course it wont sell. upon checking thats the one that sold almost instantly, actually i was watching it. the guy made a huge undervalue. thanks again but youre incorrect in those facts
Wow no i am not going off that. that joker thinks he owns an (ice blue). These ones are ocean blues. This was one only released in a bundle pack with the little mermaid box pack (most people didnt even know about) if anything you got ripped off selling these for price. theyre not a standard gameboy pocket youre claiming them to be. I know im not over valueing my item. Forget I even said anything, going by what one sold for as a buy it now means nothing. one day youll release these ones are actually valuable and you will think about this day. man this has been a funny couple days. thanks for the replies.

Then why are you here?
"I've done a lot of research"

I was thinking the same thing.

Actually sold; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nintendo-GameBoy-Pocket-Rare-Ice-Blue-Color-Working-Free-Postage-/111738149601?hash=item1a041cdae1
Has been up for ages (re listed like 5 times) and still not sold; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CONSOLE-Game-Boy-Pocket-Ice-Limited-Edition-/252097662296?hash=item3ab2310d58
I'll make sure to keep an eye on eBay for "OMG UlTRA RARE GB POCKET LOOK WOW@!@!@!@" and see what it goes for then.
That would blend in with the plain original Gameboy listing titles.
