Curious to know something

Seeing as how i dont collect manuals or boxes for nes, how much have any of you spent to aqcuire most of them.

If anyone has all the boxes and manuals, what estimate would you put on them for cost. I realize some came CIB etc... but an average estimate is all i am looking for.

pure curiosity. thanks.

  • That's a really great question. I think the cost/value of all the boxes and manuals is at least double of what the carts would be worth.
  • see, thats what i was kinda thinking, based on all the frustred people commenting when they need a box or manual...

I don't know what you mean (SEND ME YOUR ALFRED CHICKEN BOX NOW) boxes and manuals are easy to find image

  • The frustrating part is that you generally have to buy a CIB game just to get the box or manual you want.

I just got Popeye and Balloon Fight today in the mail, and although I needed both boxes, I didnt need either cart (which is weird because there are a lot of black box variants)

  • Its all about timing I myself if I still didnt have boxes and manuals I sure wouldnt be going after them now. Other than the HS, BBB, PABP, Caltron, chettahmen I didnt pay over 50 dollars for any box or manual. 90 percent I got for less than 10.00.. I got my complete gun nac for example for 5.00 I know nintendo collecting is booming now but if it plays out like atari, colecovision, intellivision the prices will drop big time in a few years. the super rares will still hold value because they are really rare but ones like gun nac i cant see them going for the insane amounts a few years from now
