Anyone buying Yoshi's Wooly World for the Wii U?!?

I am pretty excited about Yoshi's Wooly World for the Wii U today. I know that game has been out in Europe for several months and the metacritic score is 78, but I still want to play this game. The graphics look amazing! Nintendo is known for their solid platformers too! I am sure it won't be better than Yoshi's Island for SNES, but Wii U doesn't exacty offer a ton of games. It is pretty pathetic that Mario Tennis and Xenoblade Chronicles are the only two games worth getting by the end of the year!!! Thoughts...

I agree the number of titles available are a little low but the number of quality good titles are way higher in my opinion than xbone and ps4. I am currently playing new super luigi u and love the crap out of it even though I kind of bought it as an afterthought.
Also Mario tennis is my favorite sports game ever so even though it is slim pickins this holiday its a big deal for me!

But really I dunno, the SNES game is a masterpiece and all of the later attempts have been pretty sub-par and failed to capture that magic.
Thought it was out already.
It's been out since June for the rest of the world but they pushed it back to today for American release. No clue why.
Just picked up on my lunch break! Got the Pink yoshi for my girlfriend, we're grabbin some beers and gonna jam on it after work! Should be fun!
Yeah I can't wait! Just 2 1/2 more hours til I leave work... I got the bundle on my lunch break too, no pink or blue yoshis though, just green for me. I think this has been my most anticipated game since the Wii U launched.
Picked up my preorder bundle today. Picked up the blue yoshi to open up. Going to try and get another blue and a pink one at best buy with gamer club today. This is a set id like to have. Best buy limited to one amiibo yoshi each. For no damn reason. They had multiple and it was already way past lunch. Have to go back later when the bitchy lady is gone.
A lot of stores I noticed lately have been reeeaaaaaaaallyyy picky about the whole amiibo 1 per customer thing (even though those SKUs are technically different for those)
I will probably just get the Amiibo today and buy the game for cheap used later on.

Oh I know that is the most stupid thing about it, they let people walk out with 3 Marths, 3 Villagers and 3 Wii Fit Trainers......but no you can't have 2 Yoshi that are different colours!?

Really enjoying this game. That video is saying nintendo makes a lot of 2d platformers....is that bad? I thiught most people think the 2d platformer is the best genre ever oh well....burn
They had 3 on the wall of each and I was very surprised then later said that is what kind of mentality Nintendo has created with this Amiibo shit, you got guys running into stores asking if they have them in.

Yea the wait was brutal today coupled with the fact that my job was slow as hell today, so it made the time go even slower. I put a good hour into the game so far and just as I expected...I love it!

Having alot of fun! Just played the windmill level and got the cow! So cool!
when i swung back by 2 hours later with more cash in hand, the other 2 bundles, the 3 blue amiibos, the 6 pink amiibos, and the 6 copies of the game itself were all sold.

Yup this game is way better imo than yoshis new island on 3ds
Was pretty disappointed with that one myself. Felt really lackluster and uninspired. Woolly world has a ton of charm and fun! Really enjoying it! Kinda got hooked after the Windmill level. Really dug the design and music. Started.going back through and making sure I collected everything after that!

Totally agree with you there! i enjoy my ps4 but Wii U has a great line up and Ive enjoyed that system more than PS4 or xbone. And yes, I have all 3!
