I like the concept a lot, but it makes a lot of sense to try for something that can both stand alone AND be paired up next to the actual NA logo without being redundant. The fonts should enough of unifying feature without having to use the actual NA logo... or at least, not use the NA logo so large.
Maybe it's just the size of the NA... it overpowers the microphone.

EDIT: To give you an idea, here's the rough copy. As you can see, I decided to draw the retro-Mario. The logos also aren't added yet (NageCast will go above Mario, and I'm putting the normal Nintendo AGE logo on the NES cover. I'm also working on drawing in a radio tower sprouting from the system, and the radio waves will make up the background.
doesn't look like I'll be able to make an entrie but my idea(s) were
take one of those old radio Microphones that had the cord coming out the bottom then have that cord go to a NES controller with on top of the mic instead of saying on air say NAGECAST
then under the microphone stand have RECORDED LIVE to play on what was say during the first few minutes of the first nagecast. then have rectangular box outline about 5 pixels going around the whole idea with the outline being the same colour as the A in NA on the left. the whole thing would be like a cartoon ish type drawing or even clip art to keep it simple
alright after struggling with paint lol here is my submission if need be I have no problem with it being re done in a better program after contest is over.

Anyways, here's the best I could draw. I liked how the radio tower came out so well, I almost think it would be fine without Mario.

Pixellate & color it to an 8 bit goodness. Stuff it between the N and A. Finally, put that little elf guys green hat on the head.
