I dunno if its a worst but Cybernoid for nes is really frustrating the hell out of me. I've tried multiple times for hours to beat this game and I only ever manage to get so far. Argh time to play something else for awhile.

Cybernoid is a shump puzzle game. It doesn't fit anywhere in normal classifications of games.
In my opinion, the Worst SNES RPG has gotta be Shadowrun, even if it's considered for that genre. I'm still in awe for Screw Attack putting it on the top 10 SNES RPG's which astounds me.

Brock have you played Spawn? It seemed fucking god awful to me, couldn't even get past the first screen or two. I'm probably playing it wrong but god it fucking sucks.
Brawler:
Batman Forever - Probably the worst game I've ever played on the SNES
Spawn
Shump:
D-Force - Definitely the worst traditional shmup on the SNES.
Blazeon - Not terrible, but pretty boring at times

I haven't played it in 20 years but I remeber it being pretty good. This is the first time I've ever heard someone say it sucks, let alone "worst on the system".
A lot of shooters look like they're clones of each other just with a new coat of paint. Am I wrong?
Well, it's hard to distinguish the "one ship vs. alien horde" on the surface. Once you play them, you can separate the wheat from the chaff. In other words, yes, you are wrong.
What about BioMetal, Super Nova, Darius Twin, Phalanx, Strike Gunner STG & Thunder Spirits?
Lol, just no. The only one of those that would even be a contender is Strike Gunner, and even then it offers something for people who want a game with extreme challenge (only when you crank up the difficulty).

What you expect from someone named JRPG specilalist, who's sig is an animated chrono trigger bit (Which is aginst the forum rules) , and their first topic is calling FF8 a hidden gem.
Honestly, "WORST" snes RPG is kinda bad thing to pic, since there's not that many. If you're not counting zeldaish action RPGs, you have about 22ish. I'd say the ultima's or obitus would be the ones I dislike the most, and I hate to say they're bad games. But the perspective on the ultimas make me sea-sick to the point they're unplayable.
Street Combat is garbage for sure, but Rise of the Robots is a worse 2d-fighter so that'd get my vote for fighting games on the SNES.
Shooters... Revolution X needs a place on the SNES list.
Fighters... Pit Fighter, all the way.
For RPGs... Obitus is the squirty shits, as is Dungeon Master (a crappier version of Eye of the Beholder which is also a crappy game).
For platformers... Wayne's World is awful. It's impossible to move through the stages without constantly getting hit, the level design is moronic and the control sucks. I also hate Dr. Franken with a passion, probably the biggest waste of 4$ on a cart I've had in the past year.

SNES Shadowrun is an awesome game. I'd definitely put it in the top 10 RPGs on the SNES.`
I dunno. CN is crap, but it doesn't make me want to smack my head against the coffee table like the others. Last Action Hero may be the single worst game on the system. Hell I'd much rather play through CN again than touch Bronkie.

People like to praise Earthbound for being "such a unique setting", but Shadowrun takes that crown, IMO.
Would I have been happier if they'd implemented turn-based tactical combat instead of realtime? Absolutely.
But it's a truly unique gaming experience on the system that does an really great mashup of RPG and point-and-click adventure game with lots of plot-points and puzzles to solve/acquire.
Last Action Hero may be the single worst game on the system.
It's terrible, and clearly unfinished (the US version anyway), but at least there's an actual playable game there. I'd put Pit Fighter in front of LAH for that title, and I'm sure there are strong candidates in the sports game library.
The Itchy & Scratchy Game is a total piece of junk too. Some of the most offensively poor music I've ever heard on the system.

There are all kinds of "Best of" & "top 10" losts out there but what do y'all think are the worst games?
Are we talking individual games selected by genre, like worst RPG, worst shooter, etc?

What, no Shaq Fu?
You could basically list half of the western developed games, and anything by Ocean, and be safe

Schmup
1 - Anything on Action 52
2 - Last Starfighter
Multigenre
1 - Moon Ranger
2 - Ultimate Stuntman
What about Super Nova, Darius Twin,
I love the Darius series. You put either of those on a "worst" list and I will hunt you down and give you the worst wedgie you ever felt.
A lot of shooters look like they're clones of each other just with a new coat of paint. Am I wrong?

I'd say street combat is worse than ultraman. Only thing Ultraman has that tops it is the time limit BS + special attack needed to win

Captain Novolin is EITHER a platformer or action game, and it's probably worse than any of the other 4 you have listed for those categories.
For RPGs... Obitus is the squirty shits, as is Dungeon Master (a crappier version of Eye of the Beholder which is also a crappy game).
Admittedly, I've never played through the SNES version of Eye of the Beholder... but at a glance it looks like a pretty good port of the PC game.
Eye of the Beholder is not a crappy game. It's a genre-defining game.
