Very fun game!
I'm usually decent at arcade style puzzle games, so I'll keep my fingers crossed this week!

Fun game indeed! Man, some of these Tengen releases really surprise me. Top-notch.
It's a lot more fun than I expected, but it gets tough in a hurry!

You have to create combos/clear a large number of blocks at the same time to score big points. Don't just go for the round goal.
Some of those large combos look like crazy Bingo patterns. I'm just not skilled enough to pull those off, so I just have to take the "survive and advance" approach.

Yeah, but that'll be easy!
If you didn't know. Make sure you pause and press B a couple times.
Thanks for this. Had no idea there was in-game music.
After the first few levels, though, the pace ramps up and I find the music distracting. However, these are some great tunes!

More than likely, but I'm doing my best to be somewhat competitive!

Indeed. The sound is good with or without it, but the music (especially the first and third songs) took this game from decent curiosity to completely awesome in my book. I wish I could play this week but I am still waiting for contractors to finish, this is like Eldin on Murphy Brown, lol. Good luck to all competitors!
Score updated. I still can't get past Wave 17, but I got one diagonal closer.
At least Wave 17 must be legitimately difficult to get past and it's not just me that's stuck there. I got within 1 Klax of getting past it yesterday, but my score was lower than what I've already got posted.
I got busy, forgot to post my score, and now I'm seeing what you guys have been up to! O.o We're treading into Twin Galaxies territory here!
The TG record is 3.2 million on medium difficulty. Puzzle game usually aren't my strongest genre, but I was hoping that I could do better than about 11% of that with the difficulty set on easy.

I forgot about the difficulty difference. Way to burst my bubble!

I know I felt worse about my score when I saw that the TG settings were on medium. I'll probably give this a few more tries, but I've been mostly practicing ahead on Ikari Warriors III since at least I can beat that already.
Score update, but I still can't get past Wave 17.
Score updated again. You're still beating me by one diagonal.

If this was a low score/progression contest, I'd be in good shape! I'll honestly be satisfied if I see Wave 18 by the end of the week.
(have yet to top my 151K score, sad as that is. I can always come really close though. Still trying!)
