Undertale Discussion
Surprised no one has a made a topic for this game yet, it's definitely goty for me. I was hesitant to play it at first because I thought it was just another one of those 8bit indie circlejerk games but boy I was way off. The story and characters are charming/funny. I really enjoy how they merged the gameplay of a bullet hell in with a rpg, and it's really cool how you can spare enemies too which is a puzzle in it of itself. And MAN, the music is damn incredible! I haven't heard an OST as good as this in a long time. What do you guys think?

Bullet hell? You have my attention.
Check out the trailer!
I've never heard of this game... is it released on consoles? PC/Steam? I'd love to give it a try with such bold comments here.
Steam. 10 dollars. Another 10 for the soundtrack. I think you get a couple bucks off if you buy both together. Do not look anything up about it because you do not want anything spoiled.

I second this. Don't have anybody tell you how to play the game either. Do it your own way because as Andrew Ryan says it: We all make choices, but in the end our choices make us.

Awesome, I'll give it a shot. Where do you buy the OST from?? I hope it's available on iTunes or something, I love some good game music.

Awesome. I love games with options like this that go a little above and beyond what you'll get with a regular release. Sort of reminds me of the Shovel Knight thread. The dev released a physical, multi-platform copy which includes DLC, a thick, full-colour manual, soundtrack, the whole 9. If only more developers realized how far things like that go with a game's community. If the game itself is good enough to gain a following, these sorts of things are well worth the investment. Downloading now.

Yeah I've got my fingers crossed for a physical release one day. They've already got some merch on their website that I have my eye on too. But it is a great game, it has humor, but can get dark too, the gameplay mechanics are unique and the sprite work and pixel art are fantastic. can't recommend it enough.
