  • If anybody wants to play this online, add me to your PSN.

    SN is Gravity_Blast
  • I read the reviews you all gave it but I am still debating it. I have one question: the power up cards or bonus cards, are they similar to the Titanfall ones where you store a max of 100 and can use 3 per match?

Sort of. They cards are your specials and you can only carry 2/3 at a time. You can use them infinite times per match, but they are on recharge. Grenades are cards as well. Once you unlock a card, it's yours forever.

  • Have I mentioned I like pretty much every mode of play here? 9 modes of play and I don't think there is a bad one in the mix. That isn't counting the training/battle/survival stuff which are really cool mini modes as well. I understand people's beef with the game, but I'm just having way too much fun with it. Every match there is something crazy/cool that happens that brings a big smile to my face.

    The holy trinity of guns

RT-97C: Best Heavy, sprays tons of bullets at med/long range and best stats of any gun in the game

E-11: Best all purpose blaster, powerful at all ranges

DL-44: Han Solo's hand cannon, insanely powerful at short and even medium range.

Play flight school training mission before doing Flight Squadron. Learn to use the throttle control to pursue and aim, don't forget the dodge rolls to break missile locks.

Partner up. You can spawn on your partner, but more importantly can copy their star hand and use stuff that you may not have unlocked or powered up yet. Nobody seems to be doing this!

Bring Ion Spots/Ion Torpedoes if you are Rebels in Walker Assault.

Bring Jetpack for objectives, you will be the first one there every time.

Nades are deadly. Bring Thermal/Impact/Barrage if you have a free slot.

Sprinting shows up on enemy radar (wut? lame I know.) So don't run if you are trying to play sneaky or pick the Scott trait.

Scans reveal enemy player not only to you but your team, this is a great support skill.

Don't forget to do challenges. They give big money and exp, plus they may get you to try some different weapons and modes you don't normally play. You can also re-roll challenges (for a fee) if it is something lame you don't feel like doing.

Great tips, thank you! I was always wondering if my scan pulses were being seen by team mates or not.

A good runner up gun to everything you mentioned is the T-21/T-21B with cooling cell card. It's great close, medium, and long range if you know how to aim it right.

I think for the amount of credits it took me to unlock smoke grenades, they're pretty weak. The spread should be bigger and last a bit longer IMO. I also think Ion grenades are kind of weak too. They have a long delay time until detonation and barely scratch anyone. On the other hand, I love picking up the thermal imploder and listening to the sonic boom that goes off everytime.

  • Tried it out for PC. Not impressed. I'll wait for a price drop.
