Just realized you beat me to it. Yeah dude, Alex Kidd is where it's at.

  • Yoshi, because Yoshi's Island made my childhood exciting.
  • Mega Man and Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank.

Gah, why would you even say something like that?  NO, just... no.  If you're goona do a Crystal Dynamics thing, as least pick say Kain or Raziel

  • My vote also goes with Bonk. Three excellent Turbo/PCe games plus two SNES/SFC sequels. And don't forget the SHMUP spinoff Air Zonk.

    Honorable mentions: Spyro, Crash...

Oh, and Bentley Bear from Crystal Castles. He will soon be getting his own brand new homebrew adventure for the 7800:

We don't joke about gex!  He may hear... and come over and... talk.

    That fucker don't shut up!

  • Seriously....no Pac-Man yet? He has to be #1 if you can't pick Mario or Sonic! But it seems everyone is picking 90s characters as opposed to "all-time," minus the Master Chief mention.

But yeah, Pac-Man all the way!
  • Crash Bandicoot was awesome back in the day and I was really disapointed that he didn't continue on with Sony when I got into PS2. Master Chief is also a good on I wouldn't have thought of. My all time favorite though, has to be the Fallout bobble head guy. I get this funny feeling whenever I see his smiling cartoon face. And he's very recognizable too you can't miss him. Fallout 3 is my all time favorite game.
  • Firebrand is pretty cool. Lots to pick though.
  • Bub and Bob!
  • Blinx. He deserved more than he got as a candidate for Xbox mascot, which Master Chief only won because they wanted a more mature image. If Xbox hadn't put so much emphasis on dudebro shooters then maybe Blinx could've gotten that position and would have been a welcome contrast to what Xbox was usually offering.

Dude, me too. When I was a kid I wanted Vectorman to blow up huge. I wanted Vectorman toys, a cartoon, everything. All I got was one mediocre sequel and a cancelled PS2 game. Breaks the heart.

  • I'd have to go with Sweettooth from Twisted Metal.
  • My favorite is that sexy Hot Dog Champ Guy (that is his official name I think) on the label of that Hot Dog Champ game. Dude never goes anywhere without his trusty (and mouth-wateringly delicious) hot dog in hand.

Wasn't he arrested a while back for allegedly being involved in a ponzi scheme or something like that?
  • How about Commander Keen or Jazz Jackrabbit?

    Pac-man for sure.

  • Zero is awesome. I always liked him better than Mega Man. Had a more edgy personality and didn't need the X-mods to be a badass. He is just a badass right out of the box.

I also REALLY like Ratchet and Clank.

Yeah, I kinda missed the original Mega Man games. Started out on Mega Man X, but now that I've gone back and played the original series, I can see why Proto is a fan fav.

He was caught blasting The Ponzi Scheme by Firewater while running a counterfeit jeans ring out of his neighbor's carhole.
