What would be a fair offer for this?

Threw an add up on Craigs List the other day just for the heck of it. To my surprise, I have had some good responses.

A guy contacted me last night with this lot. Said he was open to offers, but hoping to get around $200. What would you guys say is a fair offer for this?

Thanks in advance!

  • If you're reselling there are some decent titles in there. I'd start at $100 and see what he says. Even at $200 you'd make some profit though... But I'm betting you can get it for less.

$100 was what I was going to say, but didnt want to insult the guy. I only need a few things out of there, and would selling off what I dont want.

Offer away... what is the worse they can say? No? I want more?
  • Offer him something like $130 - $140?
  • I offered $145. Well see what he says.
  • $200 seems reasonable, but it never hurts to make an offer.
  • I'd be all over that for 200 but theres a bunch of titles i need in there and i don't have a top loader so I'd be more willing to pay up. but if you have most of the stuff I'd say 150 is reasonable
  • Let us know how it goes!
  • Offered the $145, then he said he priced it and feels its worth $300, so now $200 is as low as he will go. Im going to pass.

    Thanks for all the help.
  • Oh well...

I would offer what you are comfortable with paying faster next time.

funny how people always price things after they list them and contact people about selling them and asking for an offer.
  • No, unless you get it for 1/3 of Ebay prices if you are looking to resell. Otherwise, I think 100 seems okay, but any higher doesnt appeal to me.
  • I would offer $150 but gladly give them $200 if need be. That's a solid bundle for $200.
  • I'd keep the top loader and sell the rest. $200 isn't worth the work or time in tho.
