^^^ Oh, I agree completely. But I would NEVER get into collecting toys for the sake of collecting. It's everything I can do to keep my wife from buying all of the cool LEGO sets we see, to save for later
It's much easier to keep video games in pristine condition. Toys are meant to be played with!
I'm completely with you on the Lego's they were by far my favorite toys as a kid. I sold all of mine right before I left for college. Booze money was more important to me at the time. I remember saying to my friend as I was uploading the listings to eBay "If it wasn't so dorky, I'd still play with these things."
Now I don't care about being seen as a dork, and I've been contemplating grabbing up some Lego Knights sets for the past few months.
Some of the things people can create with legos simply amazes me. They also have custom armor and weapon mods etc. Pretty interesting to check out if you're into that sort of thing.
Ahhh, Battle Beasts, liked them until stupid poseurs who never even owned them as a kid started to swarm eBay with their parents money.
Comments like that are why people give you a hard time sometimes. I mean who the fuck cares if you had it as a kid or not. If you like something and you want to buy it, what the hell is the problem?
I never had a NES as a kid... would have LOVED to own one, but the idea of spending $50 a game of gift or paper delivery money on each game seemed crazy when I could play it at my buddy's for free, hehe.
So, I guess I fit into your criteria of not being able to buy nes games. Please let me know what else I'm not allowed to collect
How about this, who the fuck cares if you care? Why did you even bother posting? It was a passing comment that hardly means anything, sorry I upset you in your Battle Beast collecting fantasy world of masturbation.

Very cool. My favorite LEGO castle site involved a guy building modular dungeons for playing a LEGO board game. It was wild.
