Probably left overs. I've noticed a lot of different toys and merch that are sold here in North America is half the price including shipping from Hong Kong. A lot of the time packaging is different. For example I bought a thwamp pillow for $12 shipped aboot a year ago. Exact same pillow in local game retailers sells for $35.
