I finally built my POTC ships and here is series 14 complete
These ships are freaking cool man!
I just got this one and it is crazy big, I also recently did the Scooby Doo sets and Orthanc. On top of these and some Star War sets I bought a crazy amount of used legos recently I am building and confirming they are all complete right now. At least 70 sets, some I am keeping but most I am going to dump. Some of them have boxes and manuals, hundreds of minifigs to identify. It's a fun chore to have.
For those that have come across lots/sets that are dirty/dusty, what's your best practice for cleaning them?
I use a strainer as well, I use a sprayer nozel we have at the side of our faucet though becuase of the higher water pressure. After that I lay them on a towl to air dry
Picked these sets up today, i'd love to get the full set of the Ice Planet 2002. I only had one set as a kid, but I had friends with the bigger sets, the colors are great with this theme. I'd also love to get the full M-Tron series, but that's a story for another day.
I have a shit ton of legos, most of which are in bins in a million pieces still after the Ms. decided she wanted to sleep elsewhere. I've got a bunch of patterns for these mosiacs also, but these are the ones I've completed. I also have a star trek one that's done, but I guess I don't have a pic of it. Yoda is huge and he will destroy you.
This is awesome! I know it's been several years since this was posted, but I know you're active on here and wanted to ask what base you used for these or where you got them? I have some bigger sheets but they aren't anywhere nearly the size for something like this and let alone, buying more at retail is costly. Thanks and these are dope, hope you still have 'em! Hang 'em high. be proud, lol!
Yep, I still have these and they're still bolted to the wall and/or standing in my Yoda shrine with the UCS Yoda. If I ever get the rest of my stuff put back together, I'll post some pictures. Maybe I'll hermit over Christmas and organize.
Here's some more of my sets and mosiacs. I have bricks to build 2 or 3 more, the Leonov, the Discovery, and some other stuff I've acquired from some people. Someday!
The older sets there were 50 each and new ep7 set was 60
Paid 14 for the small ep7 sets.
I saw poe's black xwing might that that soon
That and the First Order Tie fighter I might pick up after Christmas. If you don't have the newest Imperial Shuttle you should grab that one, it's an awesome set.
I was gonna get the Ghostbusters set at first, but not sure if I want to. The price doesn't bother me as much, but the thing with modular sets is displaying them. All the detail on the inside is hard to show off without taking up a ton of space.

I picked up Poe's X-Wing and the First Order TIE Fighter the day after I saw the movie. They had an X-Wing set up in a display case and it looks pretty badass. Can't wait to move next week so I can build them.
I went to the store to get one when they first came out. Didn't open it and that's a good thing since I'll be returning it on Monday haha get my cash back
If you're local or want sets hit me up I'll pass my number and can text anyone if you want sets.

I miss the Castle line in general....I got most of the Pirates line.
Yeah I wish they'd bring back the traditional Castle theme, maybe in a few years.

Anyone here playing Dimensions?
I've got lots of Legos. Pretty much all of the classic era 90s Pirate sets. As a kid in the 80s and early 90s Legos were pretty much my go to toys.

Nice armada you have going. We could have a full sea battle as I am now up to 6 pirate ships

I put them in a strainer and just wash them under the faucet.

I have all the boxes/manuals/baggies etc. everything is just partially dissembled and back in the boxes.
My question is are these worth even selling yet or is it to early? I want to keep them but with Christmas coming up I could use some extra money.

Hey Johnny, whats the going rate on that Imperial Ship from the 2010 Pirates set? I just saw that on Bricklink earlier and it looks really nice.
I think they are around 500 without box. I picked this up in a large lot of legos I bought a month ago.
