    It's weird that it only affects NES while your SNES slot works fine. Might be the NES daughterboard in the clone. Not really something you can adjust.

    I thought it was strange that SNES works fine but NES doesn't. I don't have a SEGA game to test that slot out. I sent back my first one thinking it was a glitch but the replacement does it also. The console is hooked up with the S-video.  
  • Great news! Tulpa gave me an idea when asked if it was S Video or composite. I removed the S-Video cord and the game works perfectly. I'm kind of embarrassed that I never thought to do that but the point is that it works now. Thanks for all the advice!
  • There's probably some situation with the NES daughterboard and the S-video output. Who knows?
