I actually had one of the best runs I had with PB 2 and Die Hard. I love Die Hard actually. I tried for a half hr trying to play it on Advanced but its too tough to hit the crooks cuz they can take double damage and you take twice as many.
Got some great games like Super Mario Galaxy and Okami for the Wii and other cheap stuff but I was finishing YS I and II on my Duo. Had to play it from start to finish.

Oh really? Yesterday my PB2 run didn't go particularly well, I died twice on the last stage. So this morning I played it again with a proper no-death run.

I think i died a few times, but i remembered to conserve my energy and life restoring thingies. So when I got to the end it was a breeze. I died only twice I think? The first time I played it was rough but after a couple of times its not too bad. I try not to play my rare games all the time, so when i do play them they're almost fresh.
My girlfriend received this for christmas, gives us a convienient little extra Genesis to keep in the bedroom.
Came with two wireless Genesis 3 style controllers and 40 built in Genesis games along with 40 shovelware.
It can also support normal Genesis controllers and most carts. So we spent a few hours laying in bed playing this on her Smart TV. Poor sound emulation aside I think she'll be much more apt to use this than my HDG Genesis in the Game room so that is a plus. We had a lot of fun and don't have quite a few of these games.
Gremlins 2 on the NES. Only because of the intro sound of the 1989 Christmas video in the Everything Else section. Very very cool and underappreciated game
Away from my gameroom for the holidays, through I saw this thread and just *had* to join in. Blasted through the first half of SMB2 (SMB USA), emulating on my Nvidia Shield, before jet lag and overeating put me to sleep
Just played through world 1 on Yoshi's Wholly World. The graphics are spectacular. I scanned all of my Amiibo collection for the adorable costumes. I think the Duck Hund Dog is one of my favs.
I got shovel knight for the 3ds as one of my gifts and while I only got to play the first 2 levels so far due to being stuck with family and not having any time to play it, it is an amazing game already! Very very fun and I recommend it to everyone. I will be playing this every night for the next week or so until I beat it.
Excitebike was the first NES game that I got for a Christmas gift back in 1987, so I'm sure I'll get a few races in later today.
I can't remember when I got excitebike but it's the only cart I still have from my childhood. My mom wrote my last name on it with a sharpie good looking out mom
I remember getting SMB III and TMNT for Christmas in the late 80's and MM6 for Christmas when it came out. I played that MM6 until the sun came up.
When I got a spare moment away from the kids, I fired up some old classics I got from Christmases as a kid. Monster Party, heavy Shreddin', Skate or Die, the works. My parents really had no clue what games to buy back then.
Friend got me a PS3 with a starter set of the uncharted games. Played the first 4 chapters of the first one. Fun game.
Started a PS3 collection today. Took advantage of a buy 2 get one and got last of us, dead space 3 , and bioshock infinite. Going to catch up on a lot of last gen.

I beat Power Blade 2 and Die Hard ln, and Die Hard again today. And frustrated myself with Home Alone... y'know... xmas games.
So glad I'm not the only person who enjoyed Power Blade 2 today.

Happy to smash out 10 hours on Xmas day due to the Mrs working and living away from family.
Beat it already too

I wish they kept the main characters name as BUTZ
