Have you ever see that SNES Zelda bundle?

I knew about the original and the mini version Zelda bundle, but what about a that version? You have an idea how much I should pay? Its in pretty good condition and complete (no game, I think it has to be sold separately with that bundle...)

  • I have seen this before on eBay and ended with no bids at a starting price of less than $150. I can't remember what was the starting price, it could have been less than $100. I didn't buy it because of the french text on the box

Is there French text on the one pictured in this thread as well? I cannot tell, I am afraid.

Thanks, was it in a similar condition? And "before" means 6 months, 1-2 years ago? Since the SNES market goes crazy past 6 months!

Okay, thank you. This would explain why I have never seen one before then. It is pretty neat.

Similar condition. It could have been 6-12 months ago. I have a picture saved. I will try to find it once I get home.

  • Somebody else Know or saw that version before?
  • I can't recall exactly when but it does look familiar. Canada seems to have had its own line of French/English releases. Most are rather scarce, but I can think of at least 6 " Canadian exclusives " with bilingual content..

    Original control set

    Donkey kong country super set

Donkey kong country 2 control set

Super Mario all stars " pink " offer super set

Super Mario world 2 yoshis island control deck

    Zelda offer control deck.

I think super NES man has the most " complete "collection of variants I've seen.

Yea he's missing Most of the Canada exclusives in that photo, not sure what else he's aquired, but one I did see was that yoshi bundle. Can't recall the last time I saw one of those. I would dodge the original model and donkey kong set myself since the only difference is the bilingualness

ever noticed the DK2 bundle? I bought the only one I've seen. Beautiful color on the art.

I've since added a couple more sets, and there are a couple French versions jumbled in as well. The french ones are tricky because unlike PAL, they have similar stickers pasted on the bottom left (usually). The only two I know of that I'm missing is an F-Zero bundle that I bought and got thrown out by an employee of the person I shipped it to, and the evasive Super Metroid bundle. I can update pics if there's interest.

It's tougher with the values on canadian bundles as they cater more to the Canadian collector. There are already so many different US variants out there that going after the much HTF Canadian versions, of which new ones seem to always be popping up, is a little more of a challenge, especially in terms of putting a value on them...the Canadian versions seem to be more of a whatever the limited amt of buyer(s) is willing to pay cases.
