Just wondering if I have a rare variant or something here. This is the box. ANyone know if its worth anything? The other side is just plain white with now writing.
Can't read the smaller writing for more clues. Can't say I've seen this before. Looks awful plain though, my guess would be that it's a refurb system, but where it came from no idea.
I would agree with Thorpe, it looks like boxes I have seen more recently for a factory refurbished PS4. It was an all white box that looked similar to what you have.
A Sega collector may think it is neat to have that specific box, but at the end of the day they probably would not display it for people to see, so that would hurt the value.
I wouldn't put much more value to it that a standard CIB System, maybe even a little less, but I could be totally wrong as well.
Just wanted to update this post. I recently acquired a box like this one above and can confirm from talking to others that this is a mail order refurbish unit offered in Canada. While some people remember this box, few kept it. With that being said, I would personally value this as more uncommon than the standard box. As for value, I would also state that due to its scarcity, I would value it as slightly more than a standard issue box. Just my two cents.
