Action 52 Black PCB
I got this in a trade yesterday and spent a good deal of the day researching it. I've gained a bunch of knowledge over the whole Action 52 story (which I have to admit is pretty fascinating) and have been able to identify which variant I have (the purple label threw me initially). I have #2, with a purple label that has been applied over top of the clear label.
I am aware of the price range for this game, but am wondering more about the rarity of the 5 major NES variants for this cart, which I have listed out below....
1. PROTOTYPE UNIQUE - only 1 known to exist (Cheetahman owns it)
2. PRODUCTION BLACK PCB/CLEAR
3. PRODUCTION REV A
4. PRODUCTION REV B
5. CHEETAHMEN 2
I have also read that there may be a 6th variant that would fall between #2/#3 that is labelled as REV A, but has a BLACK PCB. I havent seen any photos of that one though.
It seems unlikely that anyone would have production numbers similar to the ones obtained from Nintendo, so not sure if there is any more info on this.
