  • I dont know.. but I have a MINTY one that I will sell you for $250

  • tell me about it. version, past sales, projection.... whatever you know
  • Oh hell no. It's been a month or two since I looked at prices on these, but I saw the Ocarina CE's going for $125-$150ish buy it nows every now and then. N64 hasn't taken off like this, sealed prices are no where near that expensive.
  • I just lost a bid on one of these for $90 recently, so yeah its a bit much.
  • I fear I'll never get my money back on this one. image
  • Frisbee - is yours the version in the auction or the vertical seam one?
  • Here's some ended auction prices I've seen for the CE:
    $261.60, 164.90,100.99, 255.83,106.50,130.36,255.01,324.00(BIN), 241.50,289.00
  • thanks kell, are those for the "misprint" version or any CE? which is the most valuable?

Mine is like the one in the auction. With the factory vent holes, and slits. Is that yet to be confirmed as a legitimate seal variation?

It's for any CE, including shipping.
  • I won this exact copy by audiovideoconcepts for:

It took a MONTH to find out why the shipping was insane but i never got any decent answer. So i didn't pay and he relisted it two months later.
  • i asked the him what the highest offer he got was and he said it was 409$ back when he had it listed for 450$. he says he rejected the offer then, and now is selling it for less, because he needs the cash. is he lying you think?
  • what a prick. i should do something horrible to him.
  • He's almost definately lying, I believe so...
  • I've had bad experience dealing with this person.
  • Is the misspelled version really that rare? I checked both of my copues (collectors edition and grey cart) and both are misspelled...

Yes, it is legit but is less desirable and worth considerably less than the vertical seam one.  I don't really agree with that rationale but I've found out the hard way.  I had a PERFECT version like the one pictured and it sold last year with pre-order bonus goodies for $150.  Vertical seam if mint can be $400+.

Can we assume that the V-seam goes for more because uneducated people may view that as the only legit version?  Whereas, they'd have doubts on the one without the seam.  Or is it knowledgeable people who are paying for the v-seam?
  • I really don't know why. I think it may be because it's easier to authenticate it as a legit seal but also because it is quite harder to find. The V-seam one does not show up often and if it does it is usually in bad shape.
  • Yeah, I haven't seen the v-seam as much. Is the other one an overlapping seal?
  • There are 3 versions (listed below in terms of increasing rarity and value):

    1. Side seams w/ventholes in front - est. value $100-$150

    2. Vertical overlap seam in back - est. value $150-$250

    3. Vertical seam in back - est. value $400+

I can safely say these are spot on because I have bought and sold copies of each version.
