Give them a feel that there's some magic happens with their belongings after grading them and putting in plastic case not even worth 1$ and they will all stand in queue to have their ass graded.
You have to get used to the fact that just because YOU do not like VGA doesn't mean that everyone else needs to agree with you. All you do is go around and shit talk them yet you are talking out of your ass and have no idea what you're talking about. They're some of the most qualified people around to be doing this stuff and their service is amazing. I think everyone here is tired of your stupid posts. I know I am. You don't like VGA. We get it. There are many on here who do however. And as more and people start resealing games there needs to be a service like theirs that is independent and can authenticate this stuff. That's why the high value games that are VGA graded sell for more money. Get used to it
i have a castlevania 2 that is in MINT condition.. ive gone over it with a magnifying glass and not a scratch...curious if VGA will throw a BS 90 on it..
The thing to pay attention to is the corners - are any poking through even the slightest bit? Also look for stresses in the box, particularly near the corners. Any of those will cause a game to be graded 85 vs. 90+. 90s are difficult to get on NES games.

When they graded your items, do they actually tell you WHY you got that grade or give you some sort of explanation when they send it back?
What do you think was wrong with your SOM and CT that got them 85's?

Tom at VGA is fantastic and will tell you exactly why your games got the grades they did. They are rarely surprising when he tells you why X game graded 85 instead of 90. SOM got 85 because it had 2 corners poking through slightly (but not worn). CT got 85 because there is a small mark on top (not quite a dent, something much smaller) and 1 corner poking through. As for getting games 90...that is quite a task. Particularly because many case fresh games get 85s due to inherent manufacturing flaws. Ambitious task and I can't say I'm any different

You must get used to tha fact that i will shit on idiotic VGA everywhere i can It is my social position. Get used to it These qualified people graded reseals (we saw it all and you as well) as well as rejected n64 zelda cause their dumb qualified people lacked knowledge in sealed variations.
It was last year that i saw it. Unfortunately it was on old SGH which is now dead and there was no big haul cause VGA was just starting... The bad thing is that i don't remember exactly what game was it, but it was a very clear reseal and quite a shame for "qualified" people. One of the factors why i easily gave up on VGA as a "qualified" service. As far as i rememebr it was either a casual nes/snes game without a back seam or a genesis rewrap that was graded.

Yes, they graded a reseal. You are not paying enough attention to the sealed world i guess. It was talked about last year as far as i remember.
