The goal is to beat every physically released NTSC-U and PAL Wii U game that was released before 31st December 2015. I have used the same format as the SNES thread without the scoring system.

Rules
- Photos are not required but highly encouraged
- Games must be completed entirely within 2016
- Digital download versions of the games can be completed as long as it has had a physical release (it's not like we could tell the difference anyway)
- In general, games should be completed on the medium/default difficulty or above
- Please post the name of the game beaten games in bold
- Save states, cheat codes, etc. are not allowed
- No calling games.
- If the game does not have any clear end goal or objectives, just ask in the thread and we can agree on a game by game basis.

I opened up a thread earlier asking if anyone would be interested in this. I ended up deciding that I would do it anyway, if people are interested in it then it will stay active. if not, then the thread will just disappear into the depths. I will be participating regardless since there is a reasonably sized library at the moment and the games aren't half bad.
we will just have to wait and see

Damn this game is a lot of fun and there is still so much content left on the game o: Will definitely be logging more hours on this game Dunno which title ill beat next. Maybe a crappier shorter title lol I spent every bit of time off work playing this

Beat it in a span of 2 days. Pretty fun game. Music is A++++ hope to do business with again!!!
Shovel Knight Completed, cracking game. I am really temped to do NG+ before starting another game because I enjoyed it so much!

yeah you definitely should. I only had 2-3 longish sessions with it and I couldn't put it down. even with a large amount of deaths (I will not disclose the actual number ^^) the sick music and addictive gameplay keeps you going. after completing the game you get even more modes to play like challenge mode! dun dun duuuuuun!!!
also finished Xenoblade X In 2016, but started in 2015 do so that one probably doesn't count. Started Splatoon last night since I've had it since it came out and hadn't played it yet.

It's pretty fun so far! havnt played it online yet, just been playin through the campaign. I'm on the 4th section already and I think there's only 5 so I'll have this banged out in no time! This is the first time I saw the Wii U thread so I figured I'd jump on board. I'll try and take pics when I finish a game from now on.
yeah, unfortunately it won't count for Xenoblade Chronicles X. it kind of sucks because I would have considered attempting it myself if I wasn't already 70+ hours into my current game!

Normally I would say to get to the ending credits, however because this is not possible in all games released on the system. In the case of games like super mario maker, I feel that unlocking all of the possible unlockables would be adequate.

Yeah, I just spent over 120 hours in the game, don't think I'll be playin back through it anytime soon.

Really enjoyed Shovel Knight! Just beat through it on the 3DS! Havnt done the new game plus either yet but i'll have to dive into it soon! Really fun! Wanted to pick up the Wii U version and a Shovel Knight Amiibo so I could do some 2 player on it!
Beat Devils Third! The second to the last boss was such a pain I didn't think I'd actually finish it but after 30 tries or so on her then 15 or so on the final boss I did it. Game is actually pretty damn good considering all the criticism it received. It's kind of a bummer really especially seeing that quote at the end

As soon as I finished Splatoon I popped in Devils Third and played till nearly the end in one go, just had the last 2 bosses, one I beat last night then the final boss today. Nearly done with Pikmin 3 as well but I'm playing through it with my girlfriend, we did start it in the new year so it'll count as long as we finish it before someone else does! Just cracked into my sealed Giana Sisters and just beat the first level, gonna jam on this today! Im glad you guys are doing a Wii U thread because it gives me.an excuse to play some of my backlog! which was one of my goals this year anyway!

Nice!! I definitely don't have that many Wii U games so i'll probably be out of this game before to long. I think I'm maybe around 30 or so now. I still havnt beat Yoshi's Woolly world. It's another one I started with my girlfriend back when it came out. We are on the last world, just havnt finished.

Been completing hyrule warrior's adventure mode maps and unlocking weapons for all the playable characters. Its actually pretty fun but getting a bit repetitive

Playing Pac-Man Ghostly Adventures 2 right now!
Next i may try and tackle Bayonetta 2.
Sorta been blowing through the games. Damn near beat all the way through Giana Sisters yesterday, got pretty late and I couldn't beat the stupid Dragon boss at the end of world three so I hopped on it this morning and beat it! The Ninja Owl boss was pretty fun!
