Anyone have all current 3DS physical releases?

Just curious since Wii was mentioned. DS has an insane library, but the 3DS has few enough games to have them all currently.

Comments

  • I have almost all the first party releases.
  • I'm at 270, before variants and kiosk/NFRs. Last list I went through and looked at puts the count closer to 330 not 400 as your signature has Nintendobratkat.

While DS is insane (~1800 i'd say) I'm at 850 there too, again before variants and kiosk/NFRs.
  • Wii and ds set collector here, but 3ds im sub 200 still since the system is current so prices on good part of the library are still so costly.

3ds set collectors gonna struggle down the road for a frogger boxed set and code of princess set. Those 2 are already impossible to find, as is FIFA 14.

I just put a number there. I think my personal tracklist only has like 320 because I haven't had time to keep up with releases and I don't frequent the site like I used to lol. At some point, it will be closer to accurate.

I didn't think Fifa 14 was ever released here.

  • The 3DS is a great system and if I had the room I'd definitely go for a full set, but alas I don't. The library is a lot smaller than most Nintendo consoles but it also has a lot less crap than almost all of them. I'd like to see a full 3DS collection myself.
  • I've got 13 physical games for my 3DS. I'm gettin there!
  • I think I'm around 65 3ds games. Not going for a full set but I love the library. Great system and great games!

I was lucky enough to come across a Code of Princess set for really cheap locally on Craigslist last year. It's going to be interesting to see what a lot of these "first print" and "collector's edition" games end up going for down the road once more people start working on complete sets.

Yea with 3DS now it's just CIB collecting, it's getting all the extras like soundtrack CDs, art books and outer boxes. So it's almost like there are 2 types of CIBs for 3DS games. I'm really only interested in standard CIBs but yeah some of the limited editions and first prints are selling for a lot.

Yeah, I dread to think what that Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition will end up going for if they don't release a lot on top of all the preorders that sold out. Since this will be the only way you'll be able to get the 3rd game on a physical cart, I can see the game reaching insane prices.

Oh it's already at $200+ online for preorders. I can only imagine it will increase from there especially when the game is out of print.
  • Yeah a lot of the CEs are ridiculous. I will be considering CIB just normal releases, but I'm still collecting the CEs when I can afford them. It's still expensive to work on since a lot of the games are still newer.
  • I counted. I have 31 but they are all great games. Only 2 id consider fluff. Splinter cell and angry birds star wars. Got angry birds star wars for 3 dollars and it seemed like a good portable game, and splinter cell for 4.

Up to 53 wii u titles though.
  • I've only just started collecting for 3DS in the past week. (Only got 22, but set to boom in the next six months.)

My Smash Amiibo collection is pretty much done, so I've chosen something else to move onto, to only focus on after I get the last 11 Amiibo I need.

It's significantly harder (in my opinion,) to find a concrete list of PAL releases than NTSC releases.

From what I can gather, there's about 255-ish released; 273 including NFR carts.

However, I know there's likely almost 300 released over here, and I'm struggling to find any variants for covers. The only ones I can think of are the Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympics ones. The AUS and UK releases have a different background on the art. Does anyone know of PAL variants? Or is there someone I could ask that specialises in that area..?
  • Sorry for replying to an older thread. I don't know if bumping an old thread is allowed here. Every forum has different rules about bumping.

Are Frogger and Code of Princess still that rare? I see several of them (some brand new) for reasonable prices on eBay.

There are a couple of copies floating around in the wild. Please see my thread about this for more info:
  • They're boxed variants of those titles. You can search this forum because I don't recall specifics

I'm aiming for every quality or interesting release on the system.  No interest in the shovelware that has flooded Nintendo systems in the 21st century
