Just picked up this sign for my game room. I've been wanting one for a long time. I think the absurdity of the message is hilarious, and Lando rules. It's in excellent shape.
I LOVE IT!!!
Wow! Nice score... my brother would fucking love that.
Just a few neat things I have come across lately and thought I'd share.
Negro Baseball League teams leather jacket, size 6XL. Really nice shape and I couldn't pass it up. Paid $48 at Goodwill.
Cast Iron Deep Fish Fryer with lid, pretty cool. Weighs 22.4 lbs, 18" x 10" x 4". Paid $24.06 at Goodwill.
U.S. Air Force Officer's dress hat / cap by Flight Ace, size 7. Picked this up for free, the thrift store I went to was going to throw it in the trash....
Honestly not sure how good this pickup lot is, but snagged a few fun items. $1 or 2 for each item. Love the Duck Tales book. Old D&D stuff is always fun. The Rap Pages is the first issue. Only 1 up on eBay including completed listings and they are asking $400. That seems absurd to me (and its unsold of course) but it is obviously not common.
I found a copy of Our Universe at my local Savers for $2. I LOVED flipping through this book in my elementary school library. Fantastic illustrations and the book oozes that nostalgic "NASA-is-full-of-goddamn-wizards-who-can-do-anything" optimisim. This copy was in like-new shape, so it was a no-brainer to buy.

Thats weird I actually picked one of these up a couple of days ago too for the same price
Where is all of the non-gaming goodness?!? Picked up this sweet retro watch at Goodwill the other day. Appears to be brand new. Battery was dead so I replaced it and it works great. Listed it for a semi-ridiculous price on eBay since I don't really mind if it sells at the moment, hah

I remember reading a news story when these came out about car thieves using them to grab the code from keyless entry fobs of people locking/unlocking their cars near by.
I found this today and thought it was interesting so I picked it up. Not really sure what it is though, maybe someone here can shed some light on it. Is it just a cd that was sent to the radio stations possibly?
I tried emailing the address on it but who knows if it's even an active account.
Went to my first flea market of the year. I got quite a bit of gaming stuff, and three poster-type products.
The first picture is a NSFW print. Sorry if it offends you... it is just (morbid) art, in which I enjoy.
The second picture is a large poster (that came out of a magazine so it has all the fold creases) with Vader looking like a badass, as well as a genuine (or reproduction? dude said it was genuine but who knows with flea markets) RHCP concert promo.
The third picture is an awesome 'stang I saw. I made Steve McQueen an offer, but he rejected and said Taz would get pissed.
Been a long time since I posted here, i'll post my thrifting highlights over the last couple of months! Outside of many laptops and a few macbooks and tons of video game crap!
Classic 1990's Bob Carver Componant Stereo system set, paid 6.99 per unit at value village nothing powered on but was mostly due to bad SMPS fuses. The Vaccum Tube CD player and Cassette deck both needed belts.
Up and running!
Another high end Home Audio snag, a naim CD5i console CD player. This was sitting on a shelf with other DVD and CD players at Value Village 6.99 for a very expensive unit even today! Here it is after getting it home, cleaning it up and demoing it with my Lapai class-T amp and shitty samsung speakers
A couple of Shuttle XPC Corei7 980's, missing HD and Ram, installed new HD's and 8gb ram each and both function perfect! 20 for the pair!
PCW-8256 AMSTRAD Word Processor from the mid 80's, I saved this little gem from the CRT recycle pile for 2.99, I had to order the keyboard (PCW-9512) off ebay, just fixed the belt in the 3" floppy drive and now awaiting for some software from the UK!
Asteroids Arcade machine 299.99 value village with a 30% off coupon, it works just needs a recap and she will be as good as new!
Found a G1 Shockwave Transformer for $1 at the thrift this weekend. It was in gun form and with other toy guns. Its in great shape and works. Was very happy as I rarely find G1 transformers anymore. Ill grab a pic when I get a chance. Also snagged a lazer tag gun for $1.50.

I did pretty good yard sale hunting. Picked up 35 Lego minifigs and a big vader figure /clock for $8. Also got 3 1990's tmnt vehicles for $7 at goodwill.
Found over 1000 Garbage Pail Kids for next to nothing. Some Series 1, Series 2-6. Just tons of cards. Curious what they'd go for; probably going to put them up on eBay.
I got some die cast from Saver's on my drive home Sunday...
-1963 Lesney (now known as Matchbox) Vauxhall Towncar
-1975 Hot Wheels 1932 Ford
-TootsieToy Jaguar
-TootsieToy (?) Something else... not sure what it is.
I bought the lot for the beautiful Redlines on the 32 Ford, but discovered the Lesney after the fact. These would make fun restoration projects some day!
Went out yard sailing Saturday morning and I picked up a still sealed copy of Settlers of Catan for $5. I normally don't go for board games but a brand new game for that price I couldn't pass up.
Comments
Goodwill for $5. Had this as a kid and its awesome. Complete with a poor box. $75-$100 on the bay. Sold for $75

Neat on the book as well.
And go Dino Riders!

Holy crap I remember those!
Not a collector, but got a limited funko pop from a comic store. Priced as a normal one.

one has damaged pins and the only thing I'm worried about these may be dead or can't be erased by the UV Eraser

Luckily it can easily be powered through the Mini-USB plug on it.
Not a huge deal, but a deal if you know how to pirate updated maps.
This was a near top of the line GPS back in 2008-2009. Even connects to your phone through bluetooth for handsfree calls in your car.

Looks like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/RFsrH-5FmSk/maxresdefault.jpg but missing the gray end piece.
I got Tales of Phantasia for $3. And Lunar Legend for $3.
