Looking at the list you can actually mark of Final Fight. I thought that would be taken out by this point, but I beat it the other day. I was testing the cart and then ended up beating the entire thing lol. I'm also on the last dungeon in the dark world in a Link to the Past, so that should be done on my next days off at the end of the week. Still going no death. I can take out NGT near the end of the week too.
I started Uncharted Waters last night, but was a bit baffled on where to start or what to do. I ended up just sailing around bumping into land and using the inspect ability, which accomplished nothing.
I'll probably read through an online guide tonight so I'm at least partially pointed in the right direction
I just tried to play College Football 97 and... yeah, the only theory I have right now is that my cartridge is defective, because there is no way what I just experienced could be an actual functioning released game
Civilization complete. I didn't catch a picture because I was waiting for credits while it was telling me I completed the GOddess' mission and it just ended up bringing me back to the start menu afterwards. I didn't even get to finish and launch my rocket. =(

That's one I've always wanted to get into. Maybe someday...
Gonna sound like a broken record, but planning anything else next?
^That's a great stat to track! Proven paths to victory over almost 2/3 of the library -- which means those games are, essentially, solved problems. So with every new game that gets beaten, it makes the ultimate goal that much more feasible.
Brock what did you think of DDV and Power Moves? I actually kinda find myself enjoying DDV in the utmost of guilty pleasure ways. Power Moves is a dear old childhood game of mine, even though it's pretty dang awful. For its time though (late 1992), it was kind of a neat little SFII clone... at least for the first novel 5-10 minutes anyhow, lol.
Just beat Secret of Evermore for the first time. Great game. I actually think I like it more than Secret of Mana (though recency could be overshadowing Mana right now). I'm pretty disappointed that there was so much disgust for it back in the day since it wasn't Mana 2.
I also love that it has a secret/bonus ending after "The End."
That last screen actually makes me a little sad, since I really enjoyed the game. I would've liked to have seen a sequel. I thought Evermore was an awesome place to explore, and the alchemy system was sweet!
I think I'll take a crack at Demon's Crest next. I might also go for Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest to get that one over with.
When I have more free time to play games that don't save (probably in the summer), I want to see if I can finally take down Plok. I also have Dirt Trax FX, so I'll see if I can beat that since no one has.
Question on Chrono Trigger (and I guess other games with a New Game+ mode): if I start and beat a New Game+, would that count? I'm asking because it says to get any ending. And games like Lufia 2 have a "retry" mode where enemies give more exp/gold. Just wanted to check on those conditions.
No sorry, Chrono Trigger should be a new game, otherwise the "any ending" frees you up to beat the game so quickly. The intent here is that your more or less see the entire game. Its been awhile since I've played it, so if I should specify a specific ending for that, just let me know

Tiny Toons Adventures Buster Busts Loose done
Actually a pretty fun game.
Andy, we need you to beat some of those games that are beyond us plebians. Ninja Gaiden Trilogy being one
Yeah, I can tackle that at some point. I think I beat that last year for the thread. I'll take a look at the list soon.

Earthbound completed. Also finished Ogre Battle a couple weeks ago but forgot to take a picture.
Very nice. Plan on tackling anything else next?
