That's what I figured. I just wanted to confirm. I'd say that any ending after the Ocean Palace/Blackbird would be reasonable. They're all the standard ending, but there are three variations on it. No one, unless they did an absolutely insane amount of grinding, would be able to beat the game on a new file until after that point.
Hey guys, as I work through a sports game that is super long and super easy to exploit, I'm realizing more and more how helpful it would be to consolidate all tips and tricks for these titles it would be
So anything you can give me for the games you beat is appreciated. I myself should be able to provide info for over 150 titles. All of it will be in the thread next year.
All my advice for every RPG I've played can be summed up in one phrase: Save often. This goes double for Eye of the Beholder because you will be reloading to your last save file all the damned time.
Edit: Just wanted to add I'm picking up Techmo Secret of the Stars now.
Hey Brock, any chance we are going to finalize the "win" conditions for SimCity 2000 and SimEarth any time soon? I've been considering hitting a Sim game next and I'd like to do one that hasn't been completed before.
That being said my column is more of a guideline at his point. Feel free to beat it and then tell me how you did it if you're ahead of me in that regard
I done my yearly play through of Addams Family last night, never even thought about contributing to the cause. Anyway consider it done, I'll do it again either tonight or tomorrow and submit the photo for the evidence.

It all helps. I'm going to start consolidating it all, and probably create a sister thread for it for next year's effort

Nice work. I actually have that arriving any day now, so I guess that is no longer on deck

Should have a play it through anywho, it's a fun platformer, absolutely one of my top 10's on the snes.
I know it was added anyway but I felt like being a good sport and providing proof now that im actually on the scoreboard now though I defo feel like I should get more done to get up there
I'd appreciate it if people could provide any tips for the games they complete so we can get that stuff recorded. Feel free to post them in here or in there and I'll update the listing

Edit: Or Populous.
Ok Sim Earth seems a lot more straight forward than I thought. I assume beating the 8 scenarios constitutes beating the game
For SC2000, I think the "Exodus" event of the last scenario may suffice?
Mid 90s was a weird time for wrestling. Most of the big 80s stars like hogan and savage were gone and we hadn't quite gotten to the attitude era of stone cold and the rock. I mean one of the biggest stars was Donk the clown. Still I watched a lot of wrestling then.
I guess they wanted to speed up and add a little more flair to the slogge wrestling genre. Kind of a mix of mortal kombat and nba jam and do it over the top. The digitalized characters don't look good but they do capture the personality of the wrestlers. The biggest sin is there are only 6 wrestlers in the roaster and during the campaign you take on several 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 matches then end with a royal rumble for the belt. So by the end of it you have fought everyone 3 or 4 times including mirror matches. So kind of lacking in content but if you are a fan of wrestling it is alrite.
Missed the PAT. Because of course it like everything else in that game is so out of left field that you have no chance of figuring it out yourself the first time
7. There was no ending. I won the playoffs and it just went back to the main screen, that's how little effort was put into this thing
Huh, you didn't even get a fireworks display after winning? I guess the Genesis version is just a better game -- it got rave reviews over on Sega-16 when one of our skilled sports gurus beat it. (And he got fireworks.)
Just reached the post in your thread where someone beat BWCF '95 and enjoyed it. Perhaps that is what you're thinking of? I didn't even realize the Genesis got two different installments in the series

The guy who beat Populous for Genesis had to go through a selection of 500 different worlds, so it's probably the same for SNES

Don't have it, but if someone else beat a football game I would be incredibly relieved
Ha! I'd pick it up myself but none of my LGS's have a copy. I also thought that it'd be cool since no one has recorded having actually beat the game.

I'll just leave you with the greatest screenshot in the history of video games
