The manuals will be in hand and placed in the tins by this Friday.
The labels should be in hand this week and adhered by the weekend as well.
There will not be any pre-sale or wait time after your purchase has been made as all of the games will be finished and ready to ship out at the time that we begin to collect money. Although we used donor carts and as with all projects using donors the carts appear to have been handled, none have any major blemishes like stickers or marker.
As Ultimate Frogger Championship nears completion, it is our belief that we will have our sales thread rip roaring and ready to go on Friday, May 29th. This will allow people a solid 2 weeks between each release so that we don't slam people back to back with Homebrews.
Oh yeah, and you all better be ready for some serious competition because I have a distinct practice advantage
Um...why am I just now finding this thread o_O ? This is indeed a case of which I've never heard...taking a partially-completed game, finishing it, and then releasing it... Yes, "doing the impossible" is quite the appropriate phrase here. I'll certainly be buying at least one of these, and hopefully I'll be able to get a CE, as well.
I just edited Mark's post to say May instead of March to avoid any confusion, but then I realized that May 30th isn't a Friday (neither was March 30th), so I guess Mark is going to have to clear this one up on his own .

think you're out of the loop, I too just found this thread and i've been working on this damn game

I wouldn't be too hard on the guy, Mark can be a little slow at times. I am pretty positive he means May 30th, so good edit on yer part aaron.
Wow, basically I'm an idiot. How about Friday, May 29th? Let's do that haha.
To Frank: After I sell out of the CIB's I have, I'll send you a copy of the ROM so you can release it on your site. Sound good? I'm sure it will be repro'd eventually, my only hope is that whoever repro's it keeps our information in the game.
If this release goes as planned, we have at least 2 more releases on the horizon. I'm confident that those will come along much faster than this one too, more info can be found in the HM manual!
Now you just have to be patient for another 3 weeks or so...
Sweet, you can count me in for a purchase. I never even noticed this thread till today, wow I must really be out to lunch. Someone feel free to PM me when they are for sale just in case my mind goes astray.

That's cool. I don't often host ROMs on Lost Levels, but I can if you need me to? Otherwise you might as well just release it on these forums, I'm sure people would appreciate it.
^^^ I wish I could take credit for the labels, but it has to go to
Qix and Zzap! for the art on all our stuff
Al for the label dimensions
Tusk for the print run
Matt and I took care of all of the hardware work and all of the manual labor, there are so many people that made this guy possible and I can't wait to get these out and start our next project.
As for a separate selling thread, you'll all see one in the buying and selling forum for sure. I'm still hoping we can get our sale on the 29th as production should be well over by then, but I know Kevin is working out some issues regarding the release of his game. Don't forget guys, there are only going to be 90 regular editions for sale just like Al's Sudoku, so if you want one you really can't hesitate.
I'm hoping to have more pics with the full CIB together in a pic as well as what our secret CE release looks like. Thanks to all for the support, if people weren't so passionate about this hobby we wouldn't be so passionate about this release.
Thanks NGD, there really are some cool things lined up. It's amazing how much the homebrew/repro NES scene has grown in the last 2 years or so, never thought I'd see so many new things.
Now where do BeaglePuss, Qixmaster, and myself apply for a homebrewer's icon
Not too bad looking if I do say so myself. Manuals will be done by Wednesday, final preparations should finish shortly after, then they should be out to the PO on Monday if all goes as planned
