Brand New Control Deck Set?

Anyone know what a brand new "Control Deck" set is worth? I have looked on eBay and through old threads but no info. Thanks for any input.

  • You mean a site full of NES nuts doesn't have one bit of input??
  • $300 or so. I'll buy it btw image
  • I believe Bucky is quite correct here... $300-ish, plus or minus $50.
  • seems pretty cheap....
  • I sold one about a month ago. It was an orginal action set and I got $380 plus $15 shipping for it.

That is correct. Not the same but certainly comparable.

I'm sure these weren't. You have to gauge the condition of the components and how they are wrapped in plastic and twist tied and stuff. That's why I don't think these go for much. Kinda like Earthbound. People aren't gonna pay the sealed price for something that is NEW but not sealed.
  • Systems were never sealed. You can tell by the box if it has been opened or not.
  • %*#!!! How can someone say it is new when the system isn't in the plastic, parts are everywhere in the box, no instructions, etc. Same with a game. You know it was sealed at one point and it came with a book...why say its new? ugh!! Sorry, had to rant.
  • Aww come on smokinjoe, you should know better than to count your chickens before they hatch in this hobby. You know how many games or systems are listed on eBay as NEW when they are CLEARLY used? Or my personal favorite, the classic "MINT IN BOX" listing where the boxes look like they've been run over my a tractor trailer and the cartridge has obvious wear. However that label is in good shape so apparently those are "MINT IN BOX" right?? Yeah....
  • I take it you just got it and it is NOT new. Ya, I'm not about to pay big $ on a NEW system unless I know. That sucks man. Go ahead and rant. You deserve to. Although, I kinda agree with jonebone, you're experienced enough to be able to spot that aren't you? Crappy pics or what? Do you have a link?
  • No pics. The subtitle says new in box and so does the questions at the bottom. I asked the one about the games being new and he said one was, the rest weren't. I asked him why he had used games if the system was new and he said he ended un with another one. After contacting him, he said they were new. He opened the castlevania to make sure everything was in there but never played it. It doesn't even have the manual. Read the title and questions and you will see why I thought it was new. I not really bent out of shape. It's losing $20 to ship the mother back on being a pure jackass.

  • And he is giving me hell about returning it which I will win that battle. Its just the principle of it.
  • What an arse. Like you said, it's a matter of principle so return it for sure.
