I mean.... so long as the PCB was real and worked I would have bought ( within reason ) it but I guess the guy decided not to sell. I bet he realized he could just grab a donar cart and get the label on a cart that isnt cracked to pieces to get more money for it. Im curious about what are peoples thoughts on that method though..... Would you be angry if someone sold you a little samson cart that was cracked but had the sticker removed and added to another cart so it would look presentable?

I could see some people being ok with that, if I was going after carts like these (I'm not a big dollar item collector, per se) I'd just as soon prefer the whole thing be as original as can be just to feel a bit more at peace with my purchase and my collection. That's just me.
That aside - how does a cart get cracked up like that? I've never tried to open a NES cart myself, but what would someone be trying to do to crack it open that haphazardly, its not that difficult is it? - unless it was accidentally crushed, run over...
I mean.... they are not even that hard to open. All you need is the proper screw driver bit. That one looks like someone either stepped on it and somehow managed to spare the PCB or they decided to hit it will a baseball bat while in mid air. I remember my pals copy of shaq fu suffered the bat fate and the cart looked in a similar condition afterwards.
To be fair the VGPC site shows you loose cart prices for completed eBay auctions averaged over time. Those buyers paid shipping + import fees on top of that if they were international.
All the websites I can find for SNES games are charging a bit more then the VGPC loose cart price. Why should JJ charge less just because they were awesome enough to build a great charting site?
It is not always the case either I just bought Final Fight 2 from JJ last week for $40 and VGPC says I should have paid $50.
Because why get it from them when you can get it for less on ebay if thats the trending price? And shipping is usually $3 first class here, not $13 extra. For a game thats sold like 18 million copies, who would pay 32 for a SMB3 that has been in the bottom of a river for a decade?
For me in Canada it's much worse. JJ charged me $42 with shipping for Final Fight 2 (got it from the website not the marketplace), while buying on eBay from US sellers the average auction is going for $50 + about $20 for global shipping/import fee. Then turning it into Canadian monopoly currency the difference between the two is $38 CDN
your looking at 5 bucks for shipping from most canadian sellers. If you are buying from the US you tend to get slapped with around 10-20 for shipping and then ebay charges an "import fee" because most people just use the global shipping program anyways.
I once got a bunch of stuff off a guy ( Gameboy games ) for 99 cents each around 30 games seperated into different auctions. The guy was charging 3 bucks to ship it to an adress to the states and 60 for combined shipping to canada............ I was flabergasted when he gave me that shipping cost. Luckily I have a friend in New York who was willing to have them shipped to him and then gave them to me when I met up with him for a convention in Texas.

I mean. That would cost him 10 bucks ish to grab one though. plus like I said I assume anyone who would buy this would just use a hair dryer or heat gun to remove the label from the shattered cart and add it on the new housing anyways. On the plus side he the guy seems very quick to respond to questions. He told me that he got the replacement cart by gutting a duck hunt.
This is something I would buy and keep for myself for like... 300 bucks but he turned me down. Oh well.
He had another one where he had some NES games and he said he wanted 50$ for rampage. I provided sold ebay link to sold listings where none of them ever sold for more than $16 and he accused me of being a dealer.
Aside from being an obvious fake, it is also some kind of rare variant according to the description: a 2-screw game! I bet ya variant collectors don't have that one!

What pisses me off the most is this guy has over 800 positive transactions, and nowhere on here does he mention repro or fake. He even puts "Tested and works" as if it was original. He is selling a ton of 2-screw fakes like this one.
He clearly states its a reproduction which is nice.... but this reproduction cant save its game..... so this is kinda like buying a donkey with broken legs at a horse farm. At least hes honest though.

Came across this awful custom painted "Zelda themed" GameCube...

Wow, that's pretty bad!! X€
And the fact that they're asking $120 for it is just icing on the cake!
The worst copy of Little Samson ever (outside of a repro)...

Great as a Christmas gift.
Uh, 10 months early bro
Basically it says it's an Atari with 2 controllers and 3 games. Has pacman though, which makes it worth it in my book

I find it amusing how jj can overcharge garbage on their OWN pricecharting website that shows you the 'going price' of the item right there.

Only $700. (OBO)
Also, this is disturbing:
"The last picture is of the replacement front cover that I added to make the cartridge usable. "
How easy would it be to toss on a repro label?

Kinda like showcasing a working NES with Stadium Events on the TV... Now what would be really funny is if he's throwing that in as a pack-in game

lol, "movie prop". Given the asking price, you'd think they would explain that a bit better (e.g. which movie)

This guy is asking for some money back because his copy of Super Mario land 1.... has a dry battery.........
Which is funny because last I checked the thing doesn't even have a save battery..... because you cant save.
I dunno maybe he or she just does not know but I find it kinda funny that they assumed you coul save your game in Super Mario land.
Hurry up guys, there are only 2 left. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151936806...
