I remember reading about Ryder; didn't he get a HUGE organic push with hundreds of thousands of followers online, and Vince ruined that?
Yeah, I think he was the first wrestler to hit a million Twitter followers on top of his YouTube show that he did himself. Vince put him in the middle of a storyline with Kane and Cena that totally killed his momentum. If you aren't being pushed by the corporate machine, you get buried for trying to grab Vince's imaginary "brass rings" on your own. I'm pretty sure that 18 second jobbing of Daniel Bryan to Sheamus in the World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania wasn't meant to get him over even though it backfired by getting the fans behind him because of how he got screwed over.
Makes complete sense. We can't have a free market in this business, damnit! Lmao.
I really hope Sting returns to the ring. Otherwise its pretty sad that he avoided the WWE/WWF for all these years. Only to one day join WWE have two matches, lose both and maybe never wrestle again.
Fastlane is like having a reality show called "Bob Vila Watches Paint Dry". People would tune in out of disbelief that it could possibly be as boring as it sounds.

With the injury sting got in is last match i dont know if he wrestle again
I'll probably throw the PPV on, just because of AJ and Jericho, but I'm not gonna be thrilled about it.
Gallows and Anderson just had their last show in New Japan yesterday, so they could make it to NXT/WWE by Wrestlemania. Just hope they don't get lost in the shuffle after the initial "wow factor" of WWE bringing them in.
Well, that was actually worth watching. I wonder how long it will take them to make Styles dial it down for working too stiff.
Looks like Brock will face Ambrose at WM this point. Could be wrong match just started. But Micheal Colle just said Roman near beat Brock last year in a very tight match at WM last year.. well thats a lie.
Well as predicted, 6/10 was way too generous. This thing sucked ass! They got 41 more days to hopefully set up some good matches including the Rock setup. Roman vs HHH yawn...
I was spot on IMHO; 6/10 mostly due to AJ Styles. I fell asleep for everything except that and the main event, which was WAY too short IMHO. Should have lasted at least another 10 minutes; the PPV went off the air at like 5 of 11 with the stare down.
Women's matches were all a joke IMHO. Curtis Axel also shouldn't even be on the roster at this point, let alone on a PPV card.

I figured that the guys in the production truck decided that we had suffered long enough and decided to give us a break by ending the show early. It still amazes me that the US Title match was on the pre show, but they somehow managed to fit R-Truth vs Curtis Axel and a pointless women's tag match onto the main show. I seriously thought I was watching Main Event or Superstars instead of a PPV.

My main gripe as well, my dude. Major "WTF?!" moment. Lesnar clearly rolling out of the ring for the close was hilarious though. Watch the replay of how he gets hit with the chair by Dean, and just tucks and rolls out lmao.
I tried to justify that in my head as he didn't want to get hit with the chair anymore. But still, 41 days to WM start the hype train. Hopefully there are some good RAW's with comeback and surprise people cause if it's just Roman vs HHH hype.... uGH!

My interest is at an all time low for Wrestlemania. The only thing right now of intrigue is who will the undertaker face. Hopefully they come up with something, but I'm not holding my breath.
Just read an interview with Cesaro where he was asked who is top five favorite wrestlers are, pretty interesting list:
Owen Hart
The Steiner Brothers
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Papa Shango
Off the top of my head, here would be mine. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone.
1. Mr Perfect
2. Hulkster
3. Road Warriors/Legion of Doom (I'm cheating and counting them as one, as it was the team that was awesome)
4. Goldust (creepy get in your head version, not goofy stuttering one)
Hopefully there are some good RAW's with comeback and surprise people cause if it's just Roman vs HHH hype.... uGH!

5. Ravishing Rick Rude
Interesting list from Cesaro; I was certain nobody else liked Papa Shango. He was one of my favorites primarily for his attire when I was like 5, lol.

My top 5 list of all time would probably be:
1. Mr. Perfect
2. Bret Hart
3. The Ultimate Warrior
4. Macho Man Randy Savage
5. The Rock
If we're doing WWF/WWE performers only (in no particular order)
Bret Hart
Macho Man
Ricky The Dragon Steamboat
Daniel Bryan
and a toss-up between Rude and Rob Van Dam
other countries involved (primarily Japan) probably Hart and Steamboat make my top 5 with Kobashi, Nakamura and Misawa
I spent most of the PPV playing games on my phone, and glancing up occasionally. I don't think I missed anything.
I know it's cliche as hell, and everybody says it at some point, but unless WM knocks my socks off, I think I'm done with WWE. The complete lack of consistency and on-the-fly rewrites just makes it impossible to invest in the product. How am I supposed to give a shit about the storyline, if the company itself doesn't even care anymore? It absolutely flabbergasts me that WWE is STILL pushing Reigns to the moon, despite more than a year of the crowd solid booing him.

NXT and the back catalog are the only real reasons to have the network and even then it's hard to justify paying the $10 a month for it. Luckily I split it with a friend and usually I watch the events after.

6/10? Wow, only thing that would get it that high for me would be some random returns to setup some unknown WM matches. Like Rock or Sting, etc.
I'm holding out for another Vince and Shane McMahon vs Shawn Michaels and God no holds barred tag team match before I'd give this a 6/10.

Prepare for another 6/10 PPV tonight, fellas.
6-10 ppv for fastlame i hope
Still unsure of watching this.
It looks so bad on paper that I'm tempted to watch because it literally can't be any worse than I expect it to be. It's like a scripted trainwreck.

The Wyatt match looks like its actually shaped up to be quite the match. Really sad it didnt get a promo. Aboot to start.
Since it didn't turn out to be a showcase for Strowman, maybe Vince already had one of his unpredictable changes of heart on that push.

Ambrose is really showing up Reigns.
Yet Reigns got the pin on Ambrose to protect Lesnar. That was about as obvious of a finish as it gets.
