Looking to see if anyone remembers an old PC game?

Heya guys! I've been wanting to play an old shareware related likely abandonware PC game from way back in the 90s-ish. I remember it being all played on one screen with a grid of all the rooms, and there were holy hand grenades. It was random everytime, and some of the other games I remembered playing with it were Diamonds,Polly Python, and Olive Wars.

It was a one screen very basic dungeon crawler-esque game with monster encounters. Most of the screen was taken up with the full grid of rooms.

Any idea what this game was? I'd love to play it again!

  • Is it Dangerous Dave?
  • Nope! I edited/clarified better it was a dungeon crawler in the first post. Just realized I didn't make it very clear!

I remember it being very green and yellow.
  • Ask ozzy, I know he is really knowledgeble about older pc stuff
  • Maybe Ultima Underworld or something similar.
  • Oh man this is going to bug me now; hopefully someone posts what that game was. The holy hand grenade but it was a dungeon crawler is bringing something back but I can't place it!
  • Moraff's World, Moraff's Revenge ...or perhaps Moraff's Dungeons of The Unforgiven?
  • It's not Moraff's as the graphics were very minimal in a tiny window. Most of the game took place on the big grid, with text below it. There was only one main screen it was played on. I'll try asking on Reddit, but I'd have to make an account first! xD
  • Quenzar's Caverns?
