NEW Can NA Beat Every GameBoy Color Game in 2016?
Okay everyone, I'm going to be taking over this thread now. I just want to thank KrakenSoup for running it this far, he's real stand up dude.

In 2015 we were able to complete 133/506 games (26.2%), just barely beating 2014's score by 1 point! I know we can do even better this year! Last year, our biggest contributor was Ferret Oxide with 26 total points! Let's see if anyone can top that this year! The biggest addition for this year - GameBoy Color games are being included as well as original black & white GameBoy games! We will all work towards the total number of games between both platforms as well as try to complete each platform individually. Also, PAL games have been removed in lieu of adding GameBoy Color games.
Rules
• You must have started the game no earlier than January 1, 2016.
• Emulators and Virtual Console are okay but no save states or cheats may be used.
• Photos are not required, but encouraged.
• Games that were released on both GameBoy and GameBoy Color (such as Wario Land II) are counted separately. If you beat one of those games, please indicate which version.
• Any questions that arise as to what constitutes beating any given game will be dealt with on a game to game basis. Most games should have an end game or credits screen

I am still plugging away at Pokemon Blue. Work has been crazy, so it's been hard to log time on it.
Yeah I feel you, I've been neglecting to grade papers so I have about 600 I have to get through today. I guess that means I won't be playing anything sadly.
On another note I have Buffy the vampire slayer coming in so I'm pretty excited to play that when it gets here.
I bought Avenging Spirit last week and beat it. I only have 2 GB games right now (the other is Blaster Master Boy), and ill beat that this year for sure. The other GB game im getting has already been beat. But im enjoying some old GB games. Never realized how good they were and how similar it is to NES games.

Jeremy Parish at Game Boy World gave this a terrible review yesterday, which made me curious. But it's not remotely as bad as he claims -- it's actually a fairly decent little platformer, marred by a manual that doesn't adequately explain the controls. To jump high, you can either be walking, or you can hold down + left/right to "charge" your jump; to swing from your web, hold A when you're descending from a jump that takes you into the top half of the screen.
It only took about 2 hours of gameplay to figure the game out and beat it, and I was able to 1CC most of the game, which helps a lot since you build up a stash of web fluid to beat Doc Ock (the trickiest boss). The last level is rough, but the final boss isn't too bad at all.
Just beat Bubble Bobble. The mini bosses are a PITA!

I beat Baster Master Boy after keeping it on today. Word to the wise with this game, dont use the candles until you NEED them in a level. Had to do the 2nd to last level with 1 candle... and theres no passwords. Its an easy but long game. But very annoying and hard if you cant see anything
