I managed to find a copy of bravely default at a target by me. It has been out of stock for a while so I was happy to pay retail. EBay and GameStop wanted more for a used copy.
Also the last Mario kart game I needed showed up. First set complete.

Someone had them on what I think was pegboards and racks in their game room. All the games were facing forward I think.

Picked up a nice copy of pikmin 1 (black label) via a trade for an empty Case and manual for Pokemon XD. Then snagged firepower 2000 at the local flea market for 10 bones. A nice little week!

I picked up Twilight Princess HD, and the Captain America Gamestop Exclusive Pop Vinyl for my collection this week, aside from that it's been super dry in the NES selection here lately. Rumor is that employees at the local Replay stores have started selling games online. I can imagine that with the stupid low prices Replay has, combined with employee discounts that they are going to demolish our NES stuff locally.

I won a copy of Mario Baseball on the Gamecube last night. I absolutely loved that game, albeit I've only experienced it through demos and friends.
I went all out and started bidding on copies that were $5 or so. Thankfully I was outbid on the one that ends tonight. Hopefully the same happens for the one ending in a few days.

Yeah I was pretty pleased. Theres some very mild damage to the back label, but it is otherwise very pretty.
The one I'm a little bummed about is the megaman 7, I thought I could get all that tape and old label off, and I probably could have with a hair drier and some goo-gone, but unfortuantely someone else had already attempted to remove the tape with no heat or chemical aide and torn it up enough that there is no way I can get it off without removing most of the original label. SOOoooooo It's gonna stay the way it is.
Brutal, fuck previous owners dude! I opened up my FF3 cart and someone had legit taped the replacement battery on and stuffed a bunch of cardboard inside the cart. Or my Super Street Fighter 2 had what I can only guess is pop all over the PCB/inside of the cart. Was legit stuck together, cleaned it up works perfect but man so not cool! Yeah best to leave it as is, I tried too hard to clean up my Wild Guns cart and made it a tiny bit worse.
The funny part I had almost beaten the game before I got my security bit in the mail. Opened it up I'm just like what the fuck...laughed closed it up. I'm gonna take it to someone who can solder I can't leave it on my shelf like that but it worked for my play through lol!
25$ CIB cart+manual exellent, box 9 out of 10. lil edge damage. not the greatest deal but i supported locally... whilst thikin' globally...meh, idk.

dudes, its actually amazing what NES games can take!!! i was demoing and remodling a burnt down condo, and, lol, it looked like a fire fighter through a box of nes games through the window to save it, or the NES box-o-stuff lept out the window itself.. house fire debris, under 3 inches of snow and fuuuuulll of dirt, glass and char, brought them home, blow drier and a buttload of cleaner and i got a perfectly working rampage, blades of steel, ninja gaiden, and arcade TMNT!!!!
Lol the fire fighters saved the NES games at least they know what's important. The shell on these games is exactly that. As long as the PCB is fine sall goodman. No doubt Nintendo made a damn good call with these hard plastic shells for our cartridge games. 20-25 years later here we are still enjoying them!
