Sealed Skies of Arcadia Legends
(I apologize in advance for these shitty cellphone pictures)

So, this was a really odd pick up for me, about six months ago. I'm not a sealed game collector, and I bought the game because I actually wanted to play it, since I heard it was a good RPG(and the Gamecube was really an RPG starved system). So, for the past few months, I've gone back and forth with the possibility of opening it to play it, or just leaving it sealed and just either buying another one(which I'm on the fence about since it's a pretty expensive game even open) or buying the Dreamcast version and just playing that.
The only flaw in the seal that sticks out to me, are two tears on the side, by where it opens:

I don't know if this is entirely a make or break for sealed games, since I usually don't deal in them. So, to the point of this thread:
Is it worth keeping it sealed and looking for another one? If so, what ways should I go about keeping this game so the plastic wrap doesn't get worn/anymore damage? I don't want dust to mess it up or anything. If I decide to buy another one, is there any advantage/difference to playing the Gamecube version over the Dreamcast version? The Dreamcast version is a bit cheaper than the Gamecube version, and I don't buy disk only games/prefer my games to be complete.
It was kind of an impulse buy for me, I'll admit, because I thought it would be an interesting thing to have, and its been sitting on my game bookshelf with my other Gamecube games while I decided what I should do with it.
Any thoughts/advice/help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
