DS Zelda Phantom Hourglass NFR sealed & Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow sealed

Anyone know if this would be worth any more than a regular sealed one? I know they probably were the same price at first but now that the Zelda system has been out a while, I thought these may be worth a little more. Thanks for any input. Also, what about Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow sealed? I saw one get $35 BIN on ebay but that was the only one and since it was a BIN, I don't want to cut myself short.

  • Well, I may have sold the castlevania too cheap. It's gone. Any info on zelda?
  • Right now, I wouldn't consider it to be much different, but several years from now...maybe quite a bit of difference, perhaps.
  • The Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow first print w/Y-fold seal (not shrinkwrap seal) is worth quite a bit if that was the one you had. I sold my extra copy for $100.
  • Mine was the shrinkwrap...got $50 for it.
  • Bucky, do all DS games have a y-fold seal version? I've been picking a few up here and there and noticed some of mine do, while others are simply shrink wrap..
  • I think a lot of cheaper games are just shrinkwrappred... at least most of them are at my local Wal*Mart.
  • A lot of the games period come only in shrinkwrapped versions (some of the better ones too, like the last 2 Castlevania games). There are a few of the early games that came sealed both shrinkwrapped and Y-fold, with the Y-fold versions harder to find and more desirable (and usually more expensive). Dawn of Sorrow is one of those, I believe Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is another.
  • Speaking of Mario and Luigi, what happened to the price on that one? It was $30 used a while back and now you are lucky to get 15. I found 3 sealed copies yesterday and was pumped until I looked them up. image
