It is my opinion that this album certainly doesn't get the love it deserves, glad to see it in this thread.

These two albums don't get enough love, and I applaud you for picking them. They're my favorite from these respective bands also.

No joke, I had not seen your post before posting mine. Not the first time we express similarity in music taste

  • I'm not going to make the effort of listing albums cause it will just be an unfinished list, or one day I'll see my post and think that my list was stupid (to me only maybe). But, I'll drop an album that, IMO, should have been picked so far :

    Beach Boys : Pet Sounds
  • That Beach Boys album is a great choice.

I started writing out a few of my favorite albums, but soon realized after 30 entries that I would be here all night.

So I'll choose one I haven't seen: Depeche Mode - Violator
  • Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

    Pink Floyd - Animals

Led Zeppelin - I through IV

The Beatles - Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band

    The Beatles - Abbey Road

    Metallica - S&M

Nirvana - Unplugged In New York

    Alice In Chains - Unplugged

They have a lot of great albums but have never topped that one. I saw them live and met them too, way back around the time that album came out.

I don't even really listen to the Beach Boys, but I LOVE that album. I decided to listen to it one day to see what the hype was about, since it's considered one of the best albums of all time. And I can definitely see where they get their rep!

Chronic 2001 is good but it's not one of my favorites. I'm actually not a huge fan of Dre as far as a rapper. I respect his production though and the original Chronic and Doggystyle is where its at for me!
  • For sure man, you posted a lot of great albums I miss 90s rap.
