Joycard Sansui SSS Nes controllers

I found 2 of the Joycard Sansui SSS controllers. They are very strange. They have an adio cable coming out of the part that plugs in to the Nes that goes over the side to the audio jack. Then the controller has a headphone jack. They also have turbo options for both buttons. A volume control and an on/off switch for the headphones. I looked them up on the net and found stuff and pics on them but just kinda wondering the rarity and worth. I've never seen them here, there or anywhere. Just kinda mystifided! Anyone know anything about them?

Also I read somewhere that you can play games and the sound will come out of the side of the headphones in the direction you are going in the game. Maybe by the D-pad? I tried them out on SMB2, but this did not work. Any ideas on games this does work with?

I just watched a pair of these end on ebay yesterday, $6.50 + $6.50 shipping.

I've sold them before. Bring anywhere from $5-$10 in an open auction. typically get about $5 a controller, but sometimes they can go for more.

I just sold two of them a couple weeks ago. Got right around that $6.50 figure for a pair.
