Grr @ XBOX 360 licenses
So it all started about two years ago... When I was over at a friend's house, I brought my 360 hard drive, played it on his 360, and while I was there, downloaded some games over Live. Then back at my house I find out that the hard drives and systems both have separate licenses that need to match up, so any time I'm not online with my 360, I can't play those games. Then that system red rings.
Instead of repairing it, I got an elite, because I wanted the bigger HD and the HDMI support. Transferred all the stuff from my old 360 to the new HD, so of course now NONE of it works without being online. Then they put up the license transfer ability on xbox.com. So I swap my licenses over. Yay! I can use everything I bought!
Then in February, my ELITE red rings. I'm not buying a new one AGAIN, so I send it in for repair. Get it back, and it comes with a message saying I have to re-do all the licenses for all the stuff I've got by hitting 'download again' under download history. I do it, and it DOESN'T WORK. EVERYTHING IS A TRAIL AGAIN WHEN I'M OFFLINE. I try the license transfer tool on xbox.com, and noooo, you can only do that once a year!
So today I finally have some time, and call up 1-800-4-my-xbox. Takes about fifteen minutes to find my way out of the automated help crap I don't need and get on with an actual person. ...Who can't help me because I already used the license transfer tool before sending my system in for repair. So he puts me up to a specialist. ...Who can't help me because I used the transfer tool before I sent my system in for repair. So after about an hour on the phone, all I get is that she's contacting HER bosses to try and get my licenses reset again, and it'll take about 3-5 more days.
ARGH!

And the PS3 really just doesn't do it for me... I only have like 7 games for the system. Their exclusives have just been lacking IMHO. (Little Big Planet is awesome though. I'll give them that.)
In about a year sony will dominate again...I hope.
In about a year sony might be bankrupt.
Its seesm like %50 of owners have had a red ring.

Maybe the PS3 division, but not the company in general. With the sales of their HDTVs and Blu-Ray Licensing they're doing just fine.
