BTW I am still trying to find a Red VGA 90 or raw mint copy and the same goes for Pokemon Emerald at least VGA 90. Take care.
  • I sometimes wonder why I ever took on the black box challenge---a teensie bit closer

  • I don't do the whole VGA thing, but these look great. I've thought about "slabbing" all my sealed SH titles.

  • Wow nice stuff Jonas!
  • game boy sweetness!
  • Damn Matt!!
  • thanks tom!
  • I finally got around to sending in my sealed Gameboy to be graded. A few months ago I picked this Gameboy up for a great deal from someone selling it as "Gameboy in box". When I got it from this person, they said they got 2 of them for Christmas when they were a kid, so one of them stayed in the box, never opened. I am always a little bit skeptical of a re-seal, so that is one reason I really wanted to send it in. There was no evidence of a re-seal or anything like that, I just get paranoid when I get a great deal lol. I was hoping for a 75+ or better, so I am very happy with the 80+ grade that it came back with.

  • Damn Jone, that Mk64 and millennium 2k controller be making me jelly.

  • Hey guys, I always wanted to ask this......is there any 100 grade NES stuff? I have never seen one, even when I Google I don't see any?
  • Not that I'm aware there are a few 100s for new gen stuff but never seen one on Nes either.
  • Might be able to do a SNES 100 from the master case of Vegas Stakes but could be expensive and don't think there would be many people in the market for that.
  • I was pretty happy with this grade since I was struggling to find this new in stores.  Some people appreciate the current gen

Getting a grade of 100 on an NES game is pretty much unheard of. I sent in 3 Warios Woods for NES to be graded and they were all out of a brand new sealed case, two of them graded 85+ and one of them graded 90. The closest I have ever seen is my 95 Friday The 13th seen here:

I am sure someone probably has a 95+ or maybe even 100, but I have never heard of it if it has happened. I have however seen 100 on other things such as Gameboy games and SNES games.
  • So with that being said is there a documented rating scale that they use when grading this stuff?
  • What if someone were to open a case of sealed games and have them graded? Would that not deserve a 100 rating?
  • I was under the impression that for a 100, it _had_ to come from a sealed case, by VGA's hands (e.g., you send them a sealed case, and they open it). I could be wrong though.
