The AC is broken!
Well the air conditioner man came by this morning (I was still asleep) and when I got up my mom said the ac is broken and we have to buy another one. And she said it will cost somewhere between 2,000 and 5,000. So for not there is no ac in the house except my room (which I have been removed from by my parents for a few hours, and my brothers room in the basement.
So I guess I'll be here on the net for the next few hours.

All you have to do is sell 4 Pirate Booties, y'know, if you can find more at flea markets and you've got it paid for.
I like you.

Basically, it would be a refrigerated pillow. I ended up dropping it because of the logistical flaws. The main problems being (1) if you use ice packs, adequately padding the pillow and still having it be ergonomic would be difficult, (2) if you use a plug-in refrigeration grid, it would be loud, and potentially hazardous if the refrigerant leaked.
Oh well...one day somebody will figure out how to do it well and make a boatload of money throughout the sunbelt.
Well, instead of having it be frozen, why not use a liquid that has a very, very low freezing point, so it will still remain liquid at a very low temp., thus making it more ergonomical. To prevent leakage, make it with a very strong bladder. And finally, instead of it being a plug-in device, make it something that you actually stick in the freezer for a given amount of time. However, the drawback to that is that it won't stay cold as long as a plug in. But there is nothing worse than sleeping in a hot room in the summmer and having to keep flipping the pillow over to get the cool side. If these suggestions make this thing possible, and you make millions of dollars, just try to remember me, okay???
Well, the biggest flaw of the "stick it in the freezer" idea is that you would need a HUGE freezer to accommodate enough chilled gel to keep you cool for the entire night. I don't know about you, but I definitely can't fit even half of a pillow in my freezer in addition to food, etc.
I think the most plausible and effective idea would be to design a pillow that acted as a heat sink and stayed properly ventilated. It would be has good as a chilled pillow, but it would be better than a hot one.
