I think if this was the case it would raise a bit of a Sh*t Storm amongst some of the people that donated. We have already had enough negative CRAP dealing with the release of unreleased undumped ROM's the last thing we need is another black eye. I cannot speak for BunnyBoy but I would assume he would realize this and avoid a conflict. I'm sure there is a legitimate and honest reason for the delay.

Well, it's Memorial Day Weekend, and I know he did not have access to email for awhile because I did not even get clarification that he played the ROM and it was working until at least a week and a half later. Couple that with the fact I was in Japan for 6 days, and you can see where delays arise...no one is "up to no good", though..the ROM will be released when BunnyBoy has a chance to get it to everyone, I'm sure he's just a busy guy...

I'm not trying to cause any problems, but anyone with a hex editor and 15 minutes to spare could have had the ROM out to the public with the necessary changes made to the legal data, if Bunny is so busy why not just send it to someone else next time?
^That is a fair point. The reason it was sent to bunnyboy is because that's what has been done previously, given both his experience with dumping ROMs and editing. I'm afraid I have to agree with MrMark0673, though, that this should have been released already. Given that bunnyboy wasn't on the donations list, if he is indeed holding out to produce carts for a simultaneous release with the ROM, that would be extremely inappropriate.

It has been over two weeks since the final payment was made, and the folks who helped out deserve their ROM.
I will likely sell repros, so to reduce the problems I am removing myself from the process. DreamTR is now capable of doing the dumping and someone who is not selling carts should do the editing. I will use whatever ROM is posted here so there is no perceived time benefit. Anyone who can do the edits should probably post here before flooding either NGD or DreamTR. Let them pick someone they trust not to leak the original.
I did my part here on this. I don't have a way to post ROMs, nor do I ever want to do that. My entire fulfillment of this was to DUMP the ROM and I did do that in a timely fashion even with my trip to Japan.
I'm a little peeved about people jumping to conclusions. Do you guys honestly think I am going to rip you off? I mean, I lower my prices and have waived deadlines on stuff and waited for personal checks and had to wait for those to clear on certain ROM releases before this, so this really tests my patience.
Since members of Nintendo Age made the donations, Nintendo Age stuff should be on the title screen, and also, I don't have access even to making posts about the game on the front page. THat is NIntendo Age moderator use only. I'm up right now, and NGD is not, I rarely talk to Dain, and bunnyboy gave up doing this, so what do you expect me to do if this is supposed to be on the front page?

The ROM is on my computer right now. I have sent it to bunnyboy and NGD. I don't want to keep sending multiple ROMs out to people because I KNOW someone is going to leak it. There's already 2 out there.
I think it has just been bad timing with Dream being out of the country, holidays and stuff. I myself haven't been logging much PC time cause I am out enjoying the nice weather.
Bunnyboy sent me a message last night (but I wasn't around) saying he wasn't sure exactly what was supposed to be edited out of the ROMs. Dream done his part and got the game dumped and sent off to bunnyboy. Just a slight miss communication is all that happened looks like. Nesguy you should have tried to pay a little closer attention to what was going on. This was your project and you have make sure to keep the ball rolling so to speak. Dream isn't going to want to send out his dumps to just anyone, it has to be someone he trusts to do the work.
Come on now NGD, I don't know if it's fair to put the blame on NESGuy. He got the money together and sent it along, that's basically all he could do. Jason dumped the ROM and sent it along to 2 people, so there isn't much he can do at this point. The last thing that needs to be done is get the legal info removed and NA put it, and that can only be done by the 2 people that currently have the ROM, which is you and Bunny.
If Bunny is busy, that's cool, you have the ROM too. Can you edit the legal info NGD? If not, why do you have a copy of the unedited ROM? If neither one of you wants to edit and release the ROM, NESguy is not the one to blame. Sorry dude, fully disagree with you on this one...
I know NGD works all day, so I know he's not able to do any of this during the day if he knows how to use a HEX editor. NGD has a copy of the ROM to give to bunnyboy in the event something happened when I was out of town, AND he is one of the mods on the site. Bunnyboy originally could not get the ROM via email for some reason so it was sent to NGD as well.

That is the thing though guys...I don't have the ROMs. The email from Dream never arrived in my inbox for whatever reason. Plus even if I did have the ROMs I have no clue on editing or anything like that at all.
MrMark I wasn't laying all the blame on nesguy at all, just saying he should have tried to have a more active role in knowing what was going on with it since it was his project. That is the responsiblity of anyone who starts taking other peoples money on prjects. I wasn't involved in this project at all is all that I am trying to say. I was actually thinking about buying the game out right and releasing it CIB myself right before this project got started.
Bottomline we just need to figure out a way to quickly gets this taken care of and get it released. ~~NGD
