I was just talking to the other members of the From Nowhere Productions crew and the CE carts actually have a 3rd variant believe it or not.
3 screw with Nintendo legal info on the back
5 screw with Nintendo legal info on the back
3 screw without Nintendo legal info on the back
So now all you need to do to complete the set is get one from being part of the team, win one in a contest, and buy one at auction. Doesn't seem too hard...
Are those standard sized styros or did you make them yourself? Always thought those metal cases were awesome and it looks like everything fits really nice!
Standard sized. Kind of a funny story as to how we decided on the styros. I had been asking Al what he used for his, and although they look amazing, he assured me that it was a lot of work to get card stock to fold and sit nicely in the tins. I tried cutting up economy car sponges to the shape of the bottoms of the tins and they just looked like absolute garbage. I had a beat up Treasure Master that I opened for the sealed games content list and the styro was just sitting there. I slapped it in a tin with a copy of Ice Hockey to see how it fit, sat right down on my comp and sent Sosa a message for 100 of them. Looks nice and saved me a TON of trouble.
Um...why am I just now finding this thread o_O ? This is indeed a case of which I've never heard...taking a partially-completed game, finishing it, and then releasing it... Yes, "doing the impossible" is quite the appropriate phrase here. I'll certainly be buying at least one of these, and hopefully I'll be able to get a CE, as well.
think you're out of the loop, I too just found this thread and i've been working on this damn game
this game is going to be the balls
I'm JUST NOW reading this thread. Man, I've been slacking.
Looks awesome Mark. Can't wait for this release either
They look sexy. I think I'm gonna be camping out on NA all day on the 29th to snag one. Has it been said yet what the final price for these is going to be?
Final price will definitely be $65 shipped for Hoppin' Mad priority mail with delivery confirmation anywhere in the US. International will be $60 plus actual shipping, I will calculate it before I take payment.
Mr. K-Han himself just green lighted us for a Friday, May 29th sale date, I will be packing them over the weekend and may start shipping as early as this Saturday, Monday at the latest.
Don't miss the sales thread this Friday, and remember, one member that buys a regular edition will win a free CE copy if they have the special "a winner is you" rubber ball!!!
Mark - you're probably savvy to this tip, but be sure and do all of your postage through Paypal, if that's how you're taking payments. The delivery confirmation is free and the priority mail postage is discounted. It will work out to saving you over $100.

Scott (Pats1717) linked me to the digital scale he uses for postage a little while back, I picked it up knowing I'd save well more than what it cost me on this release alone. Definitely going through paypal for postage, much cheaper and just easier for me.
If you are sending priority then weight won't matter much. Anything under a pound is the same price to anywhere in the USA, so as long as people arent buying many copies it should be easy. This is what the PayPal multi order shipping presets were made for and why they still beat any other company for convenience

Is the back of the cart swappable, or did you print a custom warning on the back?
The legal info my brother is talking about is that already printed on the cart plastic. It's not a sticker or anything like that. The 3 screws without the the legal info are Bunnyboy carts that have been "Modified" so to speak. All carts, both CE and otherwise, have no back labels what so ever.
If I understand right the "without legal info" means its my cart plastics, which have no smooth indentation for the warnings sticker on the back? Legal info is not actually printed on the plastic, just a space for the sticker to go.
I meant the embossed "Nintendo Pat. Pend. Made in Japan" info on the back of licensed NES games, sorry I wasn't clear. The retrozone carts I used just have smooth backs without this info.

You don't see those
But there will be 3 and 5 screw variant on this game
