So many great games alot of people don't know about!
Thanks Raptor! played through the first few levels of Kage 2 and it's pretty awesome! Surprised I never hear more about it, definately cool little game! Really having a great time with DS right now! XD glad I decided to dive back into it and get the rest of the games I've been wanting. Have about anot her dozen or so I want to get then I'll be pretty content with my DS collection!
Have 2 more on the way I had ordered I'm pretty excited about! A sealed Dark Spire and Minty Solatorobo both with Outer Box and Soundtracks!
Nice!!! I'm not sure whether or not my Dark Spire is sealed, but I got my Solatorobo with outer box from Frys on clearance. $20 Woo! Fun fact about Solatorobo; it's the spiritual successor to a very obscure PS1 game, Tail Concerto.
Also, because of the DS Atlus games, I just buy most Atlus games that come with those outer boxes and OSTs new. They're a royal pain in the ass to find in good condition once they leave shelves.
I hear ya, I always try and order those in advance, have pretty much been trying to stay on top of those since Radiant Historia came out. Have most of em I think. Missing OG Saga which i really want & i need to get back the first Etrian Untold for 3ds. I had sold my sealed copy and sorta regret it now.
That's a steal on Solatorobo! I definitely paid more than that! And that's interesting about Tail Concerto, I've heard of the game but didn't know they were connected!
I had to cough up some coin for Radiant Historia, and I don't have the outer box for OG Saga either. I love that game, too. I'm still kicking myself for not getting the outer box before it skyrocketed in price.
Etrian Untold shouldn't be too bad to track down if you do it within the next year or two. Still pissed that we didn't get anything special for Project X Zone 2.
Did you buy Radiant Historia before the re-elease was announced? There was alot of post release hype around it ('cause it was f'ing amazing!), but demand was low pre-release. As such it experience some big price spikes back in 2011. I was the only person in my city to preorder it, but i pimped it out to anyone who would listen. Convinced one of my friends to grab it and it became one of his favs. It's so great!
I did miss out on the box + cd for OG Saga. I picked up the game itself for $13.98 sealed at my local ebgames, but despite being new they didn't seem to have the box/soundtrack. I should've just completed it up asap, oh well.
I'm still on the watch for a Riding Hood Zombie BBq. If i can find freakin' elf bowling at one of my local ebgames, i'm sure i can find Zombie BBq. Still, if anyone wants to sell me one that'd be oh so swell! (fun fact, some friendly canadian on amazon.ca thinks he can get $491.67 out of a sealed copy)

I bought it right after. The rerelease brought the price of the boxed version with OST down to about $55. That was the point when I said "screw it! I'm buying these things new! Not worth the hassle."
I knew about Radiant Historia before launch and had pre ordered and convinced my brother 2 also so I sorta lucked out on that 1. Didn't realize it was going to be so rare or sought after at the time.
Just purchased a lot of sealed DS games to add to my growing collection.
I'm really considering getting a lot of DS/3DS games right now, and I found six sealed games for $50.
James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace
Avatar: The Game [Heard that this is worth about $50 itself.]

Not sure if it was posted on here, but thought those of us that are collecting DS would be interested. Apparently Nintendo has ceased any further DS cart production. What an awesome system that has tons of quality and spans over a lot of genres.
Picked up a few games in the last couple months after beating whatever title I was playing
Dementium
Ultimate NES Remix
...and then Splinter Cell 3D because it was a few bucks
Currently playing Exit while I wait for Dementium to arrive. After that I'm thinking Hyrule Warriors or one of the new Fire Emblem titles
Fire emblem fates is going to take you a while to beat. I'm still not even close to being done conquest but part of the reason might be because of how busy work was last month. So far chapters 12 and 17 have been huge pains in my butt. Best fire emblem game so far though. It's actually a challenge which is nice.

Actually I've heard the Etrian Odyessy remakes for the 3DS are better. They offer the original game and the story mode.
I'm a HUGE DS/3DS FAN!
I have more games for the DS than I do for any other console and the numbers are not even close! Has anyone mentioned Ivy the Kiwi or Boing Docomodake? The are quite a few "hidden gems" on the DS that are really affordable.
It also had two FANTASTIC Picross games. 3D Picross is especially great and I believe it's a first party Nintendo title.

If that's true about no more reprints, I think that's great! Does anyone know what the official last release for the DS is?
Yea, it's definitely important to us collectors. What's available now is all we will ever have.
Which isn't really much of a surprise. There have been what, 5 DS releases in the last year?
They have been rereleasing a bunch of games though--Chrono Trigger, Radiant Historia, Mario Kart, Final Fantasy III, Castlevania Games, Pokemon Gold & Silver, etc. If this means that is stopping, then I think it's worthwhile news and somewhat surprising.
Looks like Video Game Plus had a lot of the harder to find DS games reprinted prior to Nintendo stopping DS Cart production. They currently have some hard to find games like Infinite Space and some others up for sale at https://www.videogamesplus.ca/index.php
For anyone curious I got a copy of Infinite Space from Video Game Plus and compared it to my CiB copy. I was able to find a difference in the Sega of America Address on the back cover art. Not sure if this is noteworthy to anyone, but if any are truly wanting a first print copy or for variant collectors it may be worth noting. Not sure on any of the other reprints from VGP.

No problem. I'm not going for a full set or anything but will probably just keep both copies since they are different.

Yea, I expect some of the reprints will find their way to various outlets. I've noticed Gamestop has had Infinite Space in stock mostly since the reprint. Not sure if they procured some of the reprint copies, if the additional copies have increased trade ins, or if it's just a coincidence but I'm sure we will see more available copies from various places and not just from VGP.
I havnt played it yet but looking forward to giving it a go! I think Mr Slime is similar?
A little similar I suppose? I'm nonchalantly going for a complete set, so here's some I grabbed a little bit ago. I grab them when I can find them for under $3 usually--I don't like to spend more than $5 unless it's one I want to play or one I know is tough to find.

Don't quote me on this, but according to my own research and records, it's the Disney "Two Pack" w/ Frozen and Big Hero 6, with a release date of early 2015 It's the only DS game that was being sold new at GameStop up until recently, and most GS's around me had it on the new shelf next to 3DS games. Since both games had individual DS releases, some may say this is a variant or not count towards unique game. I personally count it, but I know others may not. As for the last unique game, if I had to throw out a guess, it would be Winx Club: Saving Alfea, from Little Orbit, and that was November 2014.
Edit: I have noticed GameStop JUST reprinted a large # of DS games, including Dragon Quest IV-V-VI-IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, possibly Avalon Code, a ton of the Pokemon games, amongst several others.

Dementium is awesome, but hard as shit and the checkpoint system sucks butt.
