fuck so I just saw the thread about the sealed "Cool World" and got this flash back of this cartoon from the 90's. It was really adult, on like at midnight - I think it was a mini-series and had similar animation style to Cool World. I can't remember much about it - but one episode had a bongo drum player get his hands cut off and it was like his story. I think he was blind maybe.

Anyone cartoon nerds here?

    Sounds like it would've had to be an anime... Pretty much all animation the US was doing back then (well... farming out. You know what I mean,) was aimed at the kiddies. Until Power Rangers killed cartoons for the rest of the 90s. Thank God for Spongebob...

    Maybe some of the MTV liquid television series? The Head, or The Maxx? Two that popped in my mind as late night 90's adult cartoons.

    Wow, that brings back memories, Liquid TV was the shizznit, came on right after Beavis and Butt-Head.
