Thought I would be helpful with Alberta and the Edmonton market:
Nexwave Video Games Edmonton x3, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove (there are technically only 1 store in Edmonton, 1 in Sherwood Park, and 1 in Spruce Grove)
Game City should be added to the list; there are 4 locations in Edmonton and 1 in St. Albert (it's a municipality outside of city limits just like Sherwood Park and Spruce Grove)
Play N Trade Games should be added to the list for Edmonton, Alberta.
Action Express Pawn & Video Games should be added to the list for Edmonton, Alberta.
Whyte Night Toys & Games should be added to the list for Edmonton, Alberta.
I can confirm all of these stores sell retro games and are currently open for business I have visited them all recently.
Buybacks in Tukwila, Wa is closed, at least according to Google.
Google is not 100% correct. I do not like google much for store times either.
No, it isn't, but it is all I have to go on. I am not going to drive 10 hours just to find out if it is or is not open. I am planning a road trip and I am going off of what Google says and which ones have active websites or facebook pages.
Hi, all! I haven't posted in a long time, but I figured here would be a good place to re-enter the forums.
I am an employee at Bull Moose Movies and Music, which is a small business chain that sells vinyls, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and video games, new and used, in North Windham in Maine (our store is listed there! yayy!) and I figured I'd let you all in on some news.
First, to expand on the number of locations, I'd like the staff to update the OP with the locations of all 12 Bull Moose stores in Maine and New Hampshire. They are as follows:
Maine
Brunswick
North Windham
Lewiston
Portland
Bangor
Waterville
South Portland
Scarborough
Sanford
New Hampshire
Portsmouth
Salem
Keene
With more stores to come, hopefully!
Secondly, I'd like to let you all know about changes that have been happening with our pricing and inventory. For those of you who have shopped here in years past, you may recall blanket prices for all games, regardless of title. With my help and coercion, and the support of corporate, Bull Moose has injected tens of thousands of UPCs into our POS database for Nintendo and Sega consoles (TG16, and other more niche platforms are coming, we're just still collecting data at the moment) and has a unified inventory of competitively priced games and systems at our disposal. Please note that we do not buy or sell boxed or sealed product, or non-US titles at this time. Hopefully, that will change, soon.
North Windham, Maine, is currently the front-runner for inventory, seeing as how I was the employee that kicked this program off to begin with, but as a whole, the chain has seen titles such as Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Die Hard, Felix the Cat, Panzer Dragoon Saga, among other popular and rare titles come through our doors.
We currently buy most games at half of what they sell for, far better than any competing game stores in the area, and price our games overall lower than most locations (Chrono Trigger sells for $87.97, Conker's Bad Fur Day for $68.97, as an example), and are thrilled to see such a turn for the better.
We have also partnered with Hyperkin to offer Retron 3 systems, as well as aftermarket retro controllers and accessories at close to factory pricing. If you're in the areas, and haven't checked out Bull Moose, consider stopping by to check out the massive changes to our infrastructure. Hope this information is of some value to the New Englanders of the forum!
In Michigan, Media Replay in Flint is permanently closed, for almost 2 years. I can attest to the closure, because I'm close friends with the owner, and was attempting to buy the store.
Also, Jellybean in Flint was hit by lightning for charging too much (literally. Struck by lightning...Thank you Thor) and burned to the ground a few years back. Old books burn very well!

For Arizona, there is the Collector's Marketplace in Phoenix and the recently opened "The Toy Box" in Glendale. You could also add The Brass Armadillo antique malls in Phoenix and Goodyear since there are some sellers inside that have video games.
The only retro shop in my area with decently priced stuff closed up not too long ago. It was called Game Zombie. I've been to a few others in my area but they are way over priced. Weren't worth the drive.
Super Smash Games in WA has closed the Seattle store. However, we have opened a new store in Olympia. Also, please see our facebook pages for updates: https://www.facebook.com/SuperSmashGames/
There is a new store in Gallatin, TN. Selection is limited and prices are based only on Pricechart. Not sure if they have an actual name for the store. It's located on the town square behind Kwik Cash Pawn for those interested.

Fairly small but what they have is reasonably priced. I picked up a loose Dragon Warrior IV with map for $50.
Super Gator Games in Hiram (They still have their Newnan location!)
GA Game Shop
Bigfoot Video Games
Black Forest Comics
Play N Trade in Canton
