Looks like ben 10 mega man. Its a cartoon for children. It doesnt even really matter. I see nothing wrong with the design. Looks like megaman to me. Complaining about this is nuts to me. It looks like mega man. The cartoon will be horrible for old fans anyway because youd nit pick the whole thing. Just be happy kids get to see mega man again.
Aside from not liking the art style,I'm in agreement here. Even though it's not the Mega Man I grew up loving,if kids love this version of him I'll be happy with it.
Reminds me of Tron alittle. I don't mind it. I think Mega Man is a good property to expand on or try new things. I prefer the Link from the NES era for style/art rather than the current designs, but it is all good imo.
Not Tron Bonne obviously It's bad enough Crapcom the Quitters pulled the rug out from under us regarding Legends 3 and thus we have not seen any Legends games since 2000...or for that matter any MegaMan games at all for nearly all this decade!!

If it get my daughter into Mega Man, than I dont really care how he's designed. This thing wasnt really designed with us in mind and I can respect that to an extent. If this is going to be on the Disney channel she'll see it.
Also that Anime intro in mega man 8 will probably always be the best animated thing Mega Man will ever be in. The whole thing brings me to tears whenever I see it. Too bad once they open thier mouths those become tears of horror.

Like Mega Man was known for quality design, look at the US box art of the first game.
I'd wager that it is known for quality design. Sure, the first US box art was bad, but everything else - in general - was pretty darn snazzy. Heck, what really counts is the game itself, and the sprites have always looked great.
But yeah, as for the redesign, it's horrendous... It just reminds me of the classic saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
