North American Wii List

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1upfWo3QnuA3Xav443vbq1p4V7sVntzxaUdfUyeEbMEg/edit?usp=sharing

I've been working on this for a couple months and I finally finished the base section of this so I figured I'd put it out there on NA to use/give me feedback or if there are any games I'm missing. I'm including the Latin American releases and the combo packs that got either combined into a single case or got new packaging. I didn't count releases where they just shrinkwrapped two games together and slapped a sticker on it. The variant section is a work in progress due to the huge amount of variants for the system and the huge amount that are listed on sites but I can't tell if were place holders and never were released or actually got released and are rare. If anyone has any variants that they physically own or can be verified online let me know and I'll add them to the spreadsheet.

Hope this helps any fellow Wii collectors!

  • You have 1,264 on your list. I have 1,258 on my list. When I get some time I will compare the two lists and see.

    Thank you for this!

    Thank you for this!

I have 1,266 on my list.  I'll go through this and see what differences we have.  It's a long process, but I'll let you know.

  • Awesome work. Thanks!
  • Thank you for this! Very helpful!
  • Great work! My list only has 1244 but I'm not counting bundles and such. I'd contribute it but I'm sure between you, Rpgcollector and NintendoTwizer you'll have it covered. No one would want to cross check a 4th list.

Thanks for getting almost all of the legwork done on the codes, those were a pain to find and put into my list and I didn't get very far. Here some codes that were missing on your list.

101 in 1 Sports Party Megamix: RVL SOIE USA

Alone in the Dark: RVL RRKE USA

Angry Birds Trilogy: RVL SAWE USA

Backyard Baseball '10: RVL RXBE USA

Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue: RVL SVQE USA

Barbie Dreamhouse Party: RVL SNZE USA

Barbie Jet Set and Style: RVL S3EE USA

Battle of Giants Dinosaur Strike: RVL SGXE USA

Ben 10 Omniverse: RVL S5TE USA

Ben 10 Omniverse 2: RVL SVYE USA

Here are some other variants I know of.

Backyard Baseball '10 - Topps Cards variant

Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune 2-in-1 bundle (this might be on your list and I just missed it) never mind, already on your list

    Carnival Games - T-Shirt bundle

Chrysler Classic Racing - Wheel Bundle

    iCarly - Pillowcase bundle

Ju-On The Grudge - Canadian Variant ("Simulateur de Maison Hantée")

Nickelodeon Fit - Fun Fit Board + Game Bundle

Forgot to ask: There are a lot of games that have more than one style disc (in a similar fashion to the Dokapon Kingdom reprint). Is this worth categorizing?
  • Okay Questyen here are my notes:

You had these games, that I didn't have on my list.

    Questyen Added:

    Beach Sports Fun Double Pack

Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey / Tangled 2 Pack

    Gameshow Fun Double Pack

No More Heroes / Red Steel 2 Pack

Last Airbender, The (M. Night Shyamalan)

Notes: Personally I don't count any of these double packs, as they are just an outer sleeve over the standard disks. But no worries to each there own. I can see why you have them on your list. Now the Last Airbender, I completely missed this on my list. There's two games on the Wii that have very similar titles. Avatar: The Last Airbender and M. Night Shyamalan The Last Airbender. As far as I can tell these are two different games.

Games you are missing from your list:

    Questyen Missing:

Country Dance: 30+ Chart-Topping Hits!!! (Or missing 25+ Chart Topping Hits)

    Netflix Streaming Disc

Rodea (*Packaged with Rodea Sky Soldier Wii U*)

    Titanic Mystery

Ultimate Duck Hunting Hunting & Retrieving Ducks

    Notes:

Country Dance 30+ and Country Dance 25+. You could maybe consider these two games variants of each other, but they do have slightly different cover art, disc art and game play. So maybe different games.

Netflix Streaming Disc. Okay not a game, I could see why you wouldn't add this.

Rodea. This came with a Wii game bundled in. Some maybe count it.

Titanic Mystery. I think you missed this one.

Ultimate Duck Hunting: Hunting & Retrieving Ducks. I believe this game is different then "Ultimate Duck Hunting".
  • Good catch on Rodea (which I own so shouldn't have missed) and Titanic Mystery. The Ultimate Duck Hunting is the most recent one I was researching and they look to be the same game. It was originally released by Detn8 and then was re-released by Zoo. If you look at the back of the boxes they have some identical screenshots and HUD's so I'm pretty sure it's just a re-release of the same game. Although I considered Th!nk: Logic Trainer and Think Smart Family separate releases even though they are the same game released under a different name so I'll add the second Detn8 one (the one I have). I also would need to break out I Spy: Game Pack and I Spy: 2 Games in One because they are the same game but released under a different name and packaging.

The Country Dance I would just consider a variant since the original release contains 27 songs and the Walmart version contains 3 bonus Alan Jackson songs. It's no different then the multitude of Just Dance games that have Target and Best Buy versions with different songs. I'm collecting them as variants but I wouldn't consider them completely separate titles.
  • Feel free to PM me any that isn't in the database.

Yeah, it gets kind of crazy on what to count and what to not count.  You'll always find an old one off situation of a rerelease, changed publisher ect.  I see your point with County Dance, it's probably more of a variant.  I think you have a solid list.  Now I guess we'll see if anything more gets released.  I heard about Just Dance 2017 and I wouldn't be suprised if another game or two comes out later on.  Hell, PS2 games trickled out long after that system was dead.
  • I can't help with any additional games but I have a couple of the codes you're missing.

Fishing Resort - RVL P SFVE

Nickelodeon Dance - RVL P SNLE

Rodea the Sky Soldier - WUP P BRDE
  • Thanks for the codes. The majority of one's missing codes are the ones I don't own. Rodea I have the collector's edition but sealed so it doesn't show the code on the box.

The database on NA for Wii games especially is such a clusterfuck of unreleased and missing games that it is basically unusable and unfixable unless you wiped the whole thing and started over or planned on spending months of time updating it.

I've been listing those as "reprint variant discs". Where the original release has a see through disc and then the reprint is full color. The Sega Fun Pack I ordered from amazon came and like we've talked about before it was just the two games and no special fun pack but at least they were the reprints so I needed them for my variant collecting anyways. Thanks for the other stuff! I'll get it added.

I think the code for Rodea would actually be RVL SROE USA (or RVL P SROE if you're using the packaging code). I've been using the codes on the actual discs. I believe WUP P BRDE is the Wii U code.
