It truly comes to a slow grind once you hit 500. I also still need golf grand slam as well as Greg normans golf power. 2 truly uncommon golf games. Again congrats!

check out my remaining list. Anything on there that you lack too still?

Of the carts you have left to get are most of them uncommon ones?

updated the second post with what I have left
  • I know what you're going to vote for for Fantasy Football prizes this year!

Yup . Peoples suggestions and filling holes with good stuff that i need (ie: my suggestions) You better believe my r7s and r6s are going to be voting choices haha
  • You still have Stadium Events to get. Lucky you...

All the others seem feasible, though.
  • I think I have 3 or 4 games on your list that I can sell for cheap. I can check later tonight.

Wario's Woods is an R6? What?
  • Congrats Quest, that's awesome to see!
  • I think I can probably snag you a Twin Eagle for like 5 at a local store. If I see it again next time I'm there, I'll grab it for you.
  • Yeah I've also got a few you need. I'll double check and shoot a PM tonight.
  • Way to go Jeff , keep it up !!

Cant believe you dont have a copy of Wrestlemania yet
  • Grats man!

I only have one left to get for Licensed, no guesses needed on what one! I have quite a few unlicensed carts too, I really only pick them up when I see em in the wild or trade lots.
  • Congrats! I'm closing in on a top ten, myself
  • Your list of remaining games is not bad at all, you knocked out all the heavy hitters I'm having trouble with (Flintstones 2, Panic Restaurant... come on Mexico and Chile, flood the market or something!). Lots of the games I've never seen in the wild too... Nigel Mansell, Gemfire, Sword Master, even Battleship. We all end up needing the same few "just uncommon" games in the end, eh?

I love seeing the commons too. I can't imagine going so many years without buying a RoboWarrior cart, that game was in dozens of lots I picked up over the years.
  • I think chile already flooded the market before. F2 went down to 600-700 for good copies after. Panic restaurant i bought for 80 back in like 2010. Full going rate. Accidently accepted a counter offer instead of countering on ebay. Seller was an ass and i had to just suck it up and buy it. Bought a boxed copy for cart price a year later and sold the cart and got a basically free box. Then j found a cart locally for 5 bucks. I was kind of pissed lol.

ive had nigel a couple times and sold it instead of keeping it. I sold a sword master i found for 3 bucks but it had a ripped label. I sold a gemfire cart to grt a box for free. I traded away a cib myriad which is my biggest regret. Ive basically had all the games but at the time you always think. Hey this is a 10-15 dollar game. Its common ill find another. I bought local lots to sell and maybe keep a thing or two or took a trip and i always dold some games to pay my trip expenses when game hunting. I guess without selling stuff id never have what i have though so thats the way it goes

After auditing my cart collection, my shit is in disaray. Ill snap a pic this weekend when i put it all back

  • bump with some pickups. Got 3 more games today and got a round number. Good time to bump

I'm becoming a speed collector smh   A whole 20 games in 2-3 weeks. Thanks NA member Silent Hill for looking through his doubles and giving me a solid price on a bundle of 5 games.
  • Nice! Glad to see it coming along  . After reading this thread now I have to audit my set.

    Disgraceful.

Congrats again, homie! Keep the updates coming!

  • went shopping this weekend at a few stores. found some commons and a couple of uncommons for a decent price. Up to 630 cart now. Alot of these I bought for 4.95, 6.95, 7.95 as part of a buy 2 get 1 free. I found some n64 and snes titles at 7.95 and 6.95 and 4.95 to make the most of the buy 2 get 1. I hate buying 7.95 and then get a 4.95 free. Paid a tad more than I wanted to for a couple of the commons but I found 2 other snes or n64 titles to make one free.

Race America was 29.99 which isnt a bad price now. That one isnt online much and seems to be jumping up in price

M.U.L.E. was 14.95 but it came with the manual so I picked it up.

I was actually pretty excited to find a shooting range. Rarely ever see that one. Oh and found that Starfox Zero Hardcover guide for 5 bucks. Wanted that one the last time I saw it in gamestop but cant justify spending 35 for it. 5 bucks was a no brainer for the nintendo guide collection
  • From the grave update

Knocked a pretty big one off today.

Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu. Found it at a gamestore for 55. Seemed reasonable. Decided to bite the bullet. Also picked up Circus Caper since it was only 7.95. Inching Closer.
  • congrats dude keep grinding away
  • Make sure you play Jackie Chan's. It's awesome.
  • It looked pretty good when i saw gameplay before. Never tried it out myself. I plan on it now. Hopefully it surpises me like whomp em of how solid a game it turns out to be. Should have bought it long ago when it was 15-25

Atleast i got it right a tick under market and a decent chunk under buy it now prices.
  • Whomp Em is an awesome game, too. Jackie Chan's is unique on the system, imo. The art and character size is wonky, but awesome.
  • LOL bumping this from a long drought. Holy crap I went 11 months before getting a new nes game.

    acquired cart number #640

inch by inch closing in on final 100
  • Finally got Wizards and Warriors III. Label is always trashed. Finally found a good one for a reasonable price in person. Went ahead and got a few lower tier games knocked out while I was at it. Gremlins 2 is a great game.

    Up to 646

121 to go! Well 120, Im not paying for stadium events.
  • 120?

    678 minus Stadium Events = 677

if you already have 646, you'd only be missing 31 games, no?
  • I imagine he's doing licensed and unlicensed.

Good for you Jeff, do you have a list somewhere of what you're missing? I can keep an eye out locally.

Its in the second post here. I listed them by NA rarity sections. Then I have the unlicensed section under it.

    Thanks!

As far as the lower tier, Ive run into them several times and they will be easy to get. I could knock them out really really fast online or gamestore, but Im kinda enjoying not rushing all the commons. Just happen upon them for dirt cheap as I go. Only time I really splurge on 1 or 2 of them is to make a B2G1 work or something.   My white whale game I think is Cowboy Kid. I just never can run across it for an acceptable price.

  • Local shop at least had a copy of Cowboy Kid recently, next time I'm there I'll see if it's still around/the price on it.

Good call with not rushing, I've thoroughly enjoyed the last 20ish years slowly picking up here and there. Got lots of great memories with the games as I've gone.
