Mini Snes, anyone...

I've got quite a few of these and from some reasom or another it seems as though they're no longer in vogue. Any thoughts anyone. As systems go personallt I love the look and you've got to love the size. Just small enough to fit it anywhere and everywhere.

  • Get some large decepticon decals and lay them over the top (the whole thing is pretty well streamlined) and cut out the buttons/cart bay. Then sell them for a big profit next week on eBay.
  • Haha good idea Dan, SNES, transform into a crotch rocket!
  • By the way, is the mini SNES is as good as the big one ? Or it's like the toploader and the graphics are a little bit screwed ?

Nope they are exactly the same.  I prefer the mini SNES.  Saves space image

  • I've honestly never even seen the mini-SNES in person, only photos online. Everyone I know (myself included) had the original, so we never bothered to upgrade.
  • I prefer it as well. Smaller = better = more game systems sitting on top of my old CRT. Since I got mine, I haven't looked back. The original also tended to yellow a lot more severely as well, but my Mark II mini looks just like the pic on the package.
  • I got real nice versions of both and honestly the one thing I don't like is the lack of a power light on the model 2. I have one of those tvs with a delay when you power something up and I never know if I got the right channel or there is a problem. I've had a couple come through with loose connections and it has driven me nuts not knowing if its either the system, power cord, rf, etc..
  • The lack of power light is the only true drawback, but the size makes up for it. It also lacks an RF Switch, but you can buy a seperate modulator for that. On top of that, no one likes RF anyways...
  • Are you looking to get rid of any of these. I wouldn't mind one, I could trade for some NES games.
  • I don't like the lack of a power light and S-video support. I do use on though.
  • PM me with your best offer anything and everything I'v got is always up for grabs for the right price : ) I'm happy to have prevoked your interest. The one thing I wil say is that I've no interest in CIB. The said the worlds your oyster
